406 Art And Soul — Attraction in Missoula

MY husband's brother passed away, I spoke with Andrew several times via text messages to set up getting a memorial tattoo for my husband. We had this booked at least 2 weeks prior. I had to set up a baby sitter for my kids, he took off early from work and when we show up the shop's open sign was lit up but there was a note on the door with his phone number stating something like "Call for appointment only." I called Andrew right at our APPOINTMENT time...... He answer's sounding like he had been sleeping and when I say that we are here for our 5pm tattoo appointment, he gave us a bogus excuse about having car problems and that he didn't know when he would be able to get there. Even if this was the case, wouldn't you think that calling the customer probably would have been the professional thing to do? I thought I would give him the benefit of the doubt after reading what google had to say about him including all the court stuff and what not.... but this man is sketchy, he lies and is unprofessional. I even blocked his number, I am so rubbed the wrong way.... He obviously doesn't give a crap about his customers. Luckily I was able to get my husband in elsewhere the next day.... When doing call arounds, I was told by several people that I should count my lucky stars that Andrew flaked out, whatever that means!!!! Go elsewhere!!

And you forgive us? You have major issue my dude! Had you called us and let us know you needed to reschedule, we would have been more understanding! I was reading Google reviews and originally went into another reputable tattoo shop in town. After the consultation and waiting 2 weeks for them to draw up my idea, I got the feeling they weren't interested and decided to go elsewhere. So based on other Google reviews I stopped here and spoke to Dru. I was immediately impressed with him. I told him this would be my first tattoo and a important tribute to my deceased parents. He was very patient, understanding and upfront with me in regards to what to expect, cost, etc. He was able to answer all my questions. I stopped in the next day with my wife, with her input, mine and Dru's we came up with what I wanted. He asked for a couple days to draw it up, which I gave him. A couple days later I stopped in and I loved the design he came up with! The day of the tattoo Dru was very accommodating and patient with me during the process. I was very pleased and happy with my tattoo. He is very informative in hygiene, cleaning and healing of your tattoo, this guy knows his stuff. If I decide to get more work done, he will be...

I've been to many different shops and have been worked on by many different artists over the last 20 years- Andrew has been my go to guy for several years now. He and his wife run a top notch operation here in Missoula and never disappoint. Good, caring, hardworking folk. Compared to other shops I've been to, you're offered much more of a personal, family like experience at Art & Soul. Much more attention is given to ensure that you get exactly what you're looking for, so you always walk out content. No part of the process is ever rushed a long, even if the piece you're having worked on lasts longer than expected and late in to the night. Your comfortability and satisfaction are still #1, as is normal at this shop. This is not to mention that Andrew's work is nothing short of impressive and beautiful. Very talented. To top it all off- it's pretty cool that my wife and daughter can get their nails etc. done at the same time that I'm getting worked on. They always leave super content as well.
