Considering this COVID-suppressed world in which we live, many small businesses are struggling to find a way to still provide services to their communities in a safe, customer-focused manner.

Many businesses attempt and fail - either creating an undue burden on their customers, or just shuttering their business when it proves too hard.

Westside has done an excellent job of moving into the times of COVID with what is by rule one of the most unhygienic services you can provide - bowling! So I was a little uneasy when we walked in, but after taking a quick look around and learning what measures they're taking to protect their customers, I felt ready to settle in for a fun afternoon of 10 pin.

The place is clean, fun, and the employees are pleasant. I didn't dare go into the arcade, even though it was open. I don't think there's any way you can really keep an arcade clean without a stable of people holding disinfectant, ready to clean each machine after use... Not really a realistic expectation!

I'm an in home healthcare provider for a young man with CP, so he's wheelchair bound. The ramp near the bar(lane 1) is absolutely inaccessible! It's too steep for his chair; furthermore, I cannot push/pull the chair up the ramp as it is over 450lbs. Not only is the ramp too steep and narrow, but there is a stationary couch in the way. Forcing my client to navigate going down the ramp, and taking an immediate sharp left to avoid hitting the seat. We should be able to use the ramp at the opposite end(lane 36) but have been told we are not allowed because of leagues. The restrooms are also not accessible. The food staff is rude.

Westside lanes is one of the only places that people with disabilities can come to socialize and feel included. These issues however, ruin the experience. It makes everything more complicated and frustrating for clients and their caregivers. It's incredibly hard to find activities for wheelchair users and this needs to be addressed and fixed.
