If you haven't been to Tagliare in Missoula, stop what you're doing, grab your keys, and get there immediately. No excuses. Because this place doesn’t just make sandwiches—they craft legendary, chart-topping, greatest-hits-worthy masterpieces between two slices of bread.
Let's talk about The New Edition—my personal favorite. This sandwich is smoother than a ‘90s R&B slow jam and packed with enough flavor to make you want to start an acapella group just to sing its praises...and I always get "Mr. Telephone Man" stuck in my head for a couple hours after eating this sandwich. But if you're looking for something with a little more kick, the Beach Boy comes with a spicy garlic aioli that is so good, I’m considering getting a tattoo in its honor. (Imagine explaining that to my grandkids one day: “Well, it all started with a sandwich…”)
Tagliare has a menu that reads like the ultimate music festival lineup—Zeppelin, The Cure, Megadeth—something for every taste, from classic rock to metal to smooth soul. And let’s be real, my family eats here so often that I’m convinced we have Tagliare in our bloodstream at this point. If you cut us, we probably bleed balsamic glaze or gorgonzola horseradish spread.
So, if you're looking for a place that takes sandwiches as seriously as you take your music, Tagliare is the spot. Five out of five stars, two enthusiastic thumbs up, and a...
Read moreMy first visit to Tagliare Delicatessen was marked by a vibrant, bustling atmosphere, clearly a popular spot among locals and food enthusiasts alike. I chose the 'Sublime' sandwich, and it lived up to its name beautifully. Each ingredient was a thoughtful addition, from the savory prosciutto and the spicy hot soppressata to the creamy burrata. The walnut pesto and garlic aioli added layers of rich, aromatic flavors that balanced perfectly with the sharpness of arugula and the tang of sun-dried tomatoes. This sandwich wasn't just food; it was a finely crafted experience.
The only catch? Tagliare's extensive menu teases with an array of other sandwiches, each beckoning for future tastings. It's a delightful dilemma that guarantees I'll be back, eager to explore more of what Tagliare has to offer. Each visit promises not just a meal, but a delightful culinary...
Read moreListen, I WANT to rate these guys 5 stars. They have the best sandwich in Missoula and possibly the best sandwiches I've ever had period. The problem is that for the last couple months it feels like a total gamble as to whether or not you'll even be able to get one. Without fail every day I have come down in the past 2 months they have been out of the absolutely amazing bread that makes the sandwiches so good. I'd understand if it was a one or two time thing where it got busy but this is such a consistent issue that someone really needs to look at how much bread is getting ordered because it's just not keeping up with demand.
Other than that one issue it's perfect. The sandwiches are absolutely the bomb the people there are all very nice and it's one of the best spots in the city. But y'all gotta do something about the bread issue cause it's really...
