The directions were confusing to get to the petroglyphs, but once located at the top of the rocks it was a pleasant stop. We really enjoyed climbing up to them. Some petroglyphs were lower down so be careful not to accidentally touch them looking at the ones above. Once near the petroglyphs there was a nice view looking back over the road and town.

Great place to see Petroglyphs and Pictographs. It’s an easy walk up to the info board, but from there lost the trail and went straight up towards the cliff which required a little scrambling. Found the trail on the way down - from info board it goes left around big boulder.

Fabulous! Both Barrier-style pictographs and petroglyphs. There is a sign by Courthouse wash directing to the path to approach the wall. A little tricky to follow but cairns were in place to climb up the slick rock outcroppings.

The petroglyphs here are actually quite good, though there aren't many of them. Unfortunately, the trail to get to them isn't well marked. A single sign board stands before the cliffs with photos and a description, this is as close as you can get using the path. From that distance the petroglyphs are difficult to see. It's possible to climb right up to the cliff and get a very good view of the petroglyphs, but don't be fooled-- there is no path and you will have to do some rock climbing, which can be tough if you aren't used to it. The close up view is much better than from the sign board. Parking used to be available across the road, but no longer-- the closest parking area is now the Courthouse Wash Trail Parking,...

Finally found it. Google Maps takes you the wrong way. From the parking lot head toward Moab on the bike pathway. Cross the Courthouse Wash bridge and as soon as the fence ends head north down a little dirt trail. About a hundred yards off the road there is a sign pointing you to the trail leading to the...
