I will never, ever use this company again.
We are an electrician and a client of ours wanted a specific brand of heater to be installed in her garage. To order King Heaters, you go to their website, plug in your specifics, and they tell you who sells the specific one you need. This is how I was even led to Gordon Electric Supply. (I will also be reaching out to King Heaters about this experience so they know exactly how their "partner" is representing their brand).
I ordered on Thursday. Their website states that in-stock orders ship next day. However, once I got my receipt, it showed a ship date of the same day. A rep emailed me thank you for the order, etc. So I replied and asked for the tracking.
Some generic person, not even the rep, replied that they were "looking into the matter."
Today is Monday. I still have received no tracking and this place has TERRIBLE reviews about shipping so I wanted to make sure I was on top of getting that tracking number since, according to their website (and ignoring that my receipt said it would ship Thursday), at the very least it should have shipped Friday. I tried calling my "rep," who, as typical of a company with horrific service, did not answer the phone.
I then called the main line to get the tracking number and spoke with Ashley. Ashley told me "if I understand and comprehend the English language," in-stock orders "usually" ship the next business day otherwise it's 5-7 business days. The fact that the customer service representative chose to be insultuous instead of following the evidence that the receipt says it would ship THURSDAY, it was an in-stock order, so at the very least should have shipped in that "usually" next business day window of FRIDAY is absolutely wild. I told her that if the word "usually" what she wants to hold on to, their shipping policies are intentionally deceptive and that is not something that a company should take pride in. When I asked to speak to a supervisor because she was rude she asked the reason, which I told her but she was too busy speaking over me to hear and then kept asking. I told her she could get that information from the supervisor, who OF COURSE, was not available. So, as is apparently typical of this company, their customer service is atrocious, and not a single person can give me a ship date or anticipated ship date.
UPDATE: After my terrible call with Ashley, I was given a tracking number via email. When I checked the tracking, the item had shipped on Friday. So had Ashley been professional and simply provided the tracking from something that HAD shipped, and not chosen to be rude and insultuous, this could have potentially been a good review to help their 2.5 star rating. This just goes to show that good customer service is EVERYTHING to a business and a representative who chooses to be rude and unprofessional...

I email them and the email bounces back. they probably already disabled the email… I read the reviews here and this is looking like a police case? from what I understand they don't have the products in stock, they sell it anyway, they take our money and send it when it's good for them. in addition to taking my money, I have a huge problem with my client who waited for me for inspection and now I don't have the material.    Read moreI purchased 2 different items from these folks in October. I specifically choose items from their site that they listed as in stock. When I only received half my order, I called them and discovered the other half was backordered, complicating my project. I asked them to cancel the part of the order they had misrepresented as being in stock.
More than 5 months later, I receive the item that was backordered and that I had asked them to cancel. I called their customer service and was told I need to fill out a form and that the item would be subject to a restocking fee.
This is completely unacceptable.
These folks are fraudulent scammers, and an absolute garbage company to deal...
