In and out in 25 minutes and the woman I had was pretty nice but the fact that you walk in and there's no front desk, just a tiny touch screen you use to sign in and the blacked out door separating you from the workers, is disturbingly cold. It is impersonal and makes you feel like a number, not a patient. Each and every person I saw come in, seemed confused that there was no front desk and uncomfortable after signing in on the pad, looking around at everyone to share the disbelief.
I DO NOT recommend this location to elderly people or anyone who does not know how to/can't work a tablet (or really anyone that may need assistance in any form), because the only way you're going to be able to speak with someone is if you bang on the blacked out door.
It would also seem that the phlebotomists took over for clerical duties since there was no front desk but desks and phones in each of the "exam" rooms that would go off during your appointment.
Quest should reevaluate their methods, but thank you to the woman who drew my blood, you were very kind, gentle,...
Read moreVery impersonal. Had to sign in in an empty room with a complicated computer stand. . Finally figured out how to do it. I chose I'll wait in the waiting room. Waited 4o minutes until I actually saw a human, who was a patient also. After he completed his sign in, I commented, isn't that easy. (not). He was called in prior to me and when he was inside he told the staff there is someone in the waiting room and then they came out. (I appreciate that man). After I got in it was very smooth and quick. FYI, I did the robot correct and the nurse was able to see I was checked in. I prefer people to people communication. Also, I tried to just call and set an appointment. Nobody answered the phone, so again had to go thru all the AI stuff...
Read moreI had my blood drawn two weeks ago and have yet to see the test results. The status on the app has not changed since the first day. I’ve sent in a “results request”, as recommended on the app, with still no response. There is no option to call the facility to check on the status either, which is extremely frustrating. At this point, I’m not sure I will ever get them, and I have no way of discussing this with an actual person. It is an awful feeling when your treatment is dependent on this...
