Crafted 1979 Bottle Shop & Tap Room — Restaurant in Mokena

It has been far too long since the last time I was at Crafted but I was glad to have come in for a stop on the day of fun for my husband's birthday!

Crafted 1979 has always since day one been a supporter of non for profits, featuring Kick the Keg to donate funds. We have enjoyed coming for many of those days.

The local brewery support with unique tap handle featured and countless cans and bottles to sample loads of fun and flavorful choices. You are guaranteed to find something for everyone!

There is no food on site but bring your own or order in from countless surrounding locations. That makes it fun. If you make friends with your table neighbors, you can even share!

Be a pinball wizard with 4 to choose from. While I am not skilled in that arena, I still enjoy a good laugh at my attempts!

First time there, drove an hour, was super excited until I actually experienced my visit there. They had a great variety. All the beers containing fruit should be kept cold but are left on a shelf warm instead. The guy ringing me up kept dropping a bunch of my beers all over. Then when my first beer was cold enough to taste, it was terrible. Started checking my can dates and realized they were all expired, some over 5 months! UPDATE: The owner reached out to me promptly and professionally and apologized that my experience was not great initially. He was not angry and defensive or making up any excuses. He used my review as something that can be improved on. Not a lot of businesses will always make that effort, and it tells me that he cares and that is awesome for anyone that would plan to visit his business. I look forward to...
