Multiple health code violations noted upon arrival. First room had a strong black mold odor and the bathroom appeared to have dried feces on the walls, pubic hair on the bath tub. Second room had some type of substances splashed on the walls, appeared to be human excrement , broken outlet covers, and some black substance on the walls and lamps. Bathroom walls were filthy and the room smelled fouls although not like black mold as the first room. We were charged for the 4day reservation that we canceled. Continue to be told that the manager is unavailable and will call us back as soon as he gets in. This has not happened and we’ve been trying to reach him for almost 2 weeks. A report was filed with Wyndham management and details shared with them and we were also told that they will not be reimbursing us. Report has been filed with the department of health in Illinois and the Better Business Bureau

⛔️don’t stay here ⛔️This place is just bad. The second I walked into the room, it smelled horrible, like something rotten, and it never went away. The furniture and walls are all beat up, scratched, and falling apart, and everything in the room looks like it’s been there for 30 years. Even the walls looked messed up and dirty, which gave me a really uncomfortable feeling. On top of that, the front desk wasn’t friendly at all. They charged me $132 a night plus a $150 deposit, which is ridiculous for what you get. Nothing here feels worth the money it’s outdated, low quality, and just depressing to be in. Honestly, I regret ever coming here. I should’ve gone straight back to the Radisson across the street. For just a little more, you get clean rooms, modern furniture, and only a $50 deposit. Don’t waste your time or money at this Super 8.

Gross, dangerous and risky to stay there. This will be very straight forward, as I think the pictures will speak for themselves. This Super 8 is disgusting. The rooms are filthy and smell. The service is terrible, the counter attendant was rude and seemed annoyed that she had to do her job checking me in. DANGEROUS - Look at the photos. There is no smoke detector in the room. THIS SHOULD GET THEM SHUT DOWN. There is no exit plan. The doors do not securely shut. Risky - Mold is everywhere in a rotted shower. Grime and dust on the light fixtures. A dead bug in our bed. I had not option but to stay here for 1 night. I seriously though about sleeping in my car, but it was unusually cold in Chicago the end of October. Stay anywhere else that you can. This risky motel is not worth it!

Super 8 Hotel was disgusting and should be closed. The first room checked into the bed had bed bugs and the bed was absolutely disgusting stained and old. The refrigerator was all rusted. Front desk stated that there was not anything she could do, except move me to another room. since all other hotels were booked I was forced to stay there. The girl at the front desk told me she was the only one working and there wasn’t a manager available. Which is not acceptable there should have been at least one other person working. The 2nd room was just as disgusting, did not see bed bugs but the bedding appeared dirty. Had to buy and use my own sheets and blanket (yes I washed them first). The room was filthy, looked like it had not been cleaned in months. The floor was very damp and it felt musty in the room. The bath tub felt as though it was going to crack and one would fall through the floor. There was absolutely no water pressure in the shower. The shower head would not stay up and was rusted. Had to buy cleaning supplies to clean the room due the hotel not providing assistance. Was advised multiple times that the manager would call to resolve the issue. General Manager Brenda Trevino was supposed to call me on several occasions and refuses to return my call. From all reviews of this place she will never call me, management there does not care about the customers or their employees. Super 8 advised I would need to talk to Priceline whom then advised that the purchase was through another third party Getaroom.com. Third party Getaroom.com whom the reservation was placed through continuously hangs up when trying to contact the company and refuses to help or listen. Attempted to contact this company more than 5 times. Every time I would contact this company they would hang up and when I tried to escalate the call to the manager the representative laughed and refused to escalate the call. The representative then placed me on hold and then hung up the call. A formal complaint has been placed with Super 8 about the concerns and conditions of the hotel, however, stated any compensation would have to be through Getaroom.com. General manager Brenda started to email correspond with me AFTER I put in a complaint about her and the hotel and gave a bogus excuse to why she didn’t call me for 3 weeks. She has now stopped all communications and is giving excuses to why she is not handling the case, originally she stated she was attempting to contact getaroom.com and they wouldn’t call her back and she asked ME to call the company AGAIN to get it resolved. I had already advised her of the difficulty I was having and she has ignored this issue. I emailed her back on 9/3/2023 and today is 9/15/2023 and she has not responded. DO NOT STAY HERE! This place is horrible and I am disgusted at the lack of...

The absolute worst experience I’ve had with any hotel. Don't book here.

1, location: I was solicited to immediately after parking (not the door to door kind) right in front of my fiancé and kid. It was late and we were tired so we stayed. 2, cost: I have three dogs with me (moving across country) and they charged over 100$ for pet fees along with a 100$ pet deposit AND a 150$ damage deposit. This is on top of the standard 145$ fee. So about 500 dollars down up front. I bit the bullet and paid even though we stayed at a la Quinta in Nebraska the night prior for 150$ with the dogs. Way nicer place. 3, quality: That musty smell everyone is talking about is black mold. And immediately upon opening the doors to our room a large waft of stale tobacco smoke scent steamrolled us. The second “bed” was a foldable leather bench with cigarette burns. We immediately found a new hotel and left after the 15 minutes it took us to do so. 4, service (Brenda is awful): Upon requesting a refund, the lady at the front desk said no problem but I would have to talk to the manager (Brenda) between 10am and 1:30pm the next day. After calling Brenda on her shift, I was told “the hotel has been smoke free for three years” (as if I was lying) and she would have to contact the lady on duty who I had dealt with the night before. I called back an hour later and asked if she had contacted the employee. Brenda got snippy with me saying the employee would be relieving her of her shift at 2pm. I asked her “am I going to get refunded or not?” and she said “yes I just need to talk with the staff from last night” despite the clear notes about our “stay” the gal had left. It became clear that she was just avoiding my request when I called after 2 and a man (not the employee from the night before) answered notifying me that I got a half refund and that Brenda (who was conveniently gone) is the one who makes those decisions. So I got my pet fee back… thanks Brenda. When I asked where the lady from the previous night was he said she wasn’t working. So Brenda lied, not surprising at this point.

Do not stay here. I am appealing charges through my bank and to all of the Brenda’s in the...

This hotel and their entire staff are horrendous. I called prior to arrival while driving cross country to see if they could accommodate my 1 year old with a crib or pack and play. The gentleman advised me that they could through their local phone number . Upon arrival after driving for 13 hours, the front desk staff member advised me that they have no child accommodations. In addition, he stated that their number rolls into a general reservation line and they are the ones who misinformed me about child accommodations.

Now the fun begins. We check into room 124 being told we would have a king bed so that we could have our child sleep between my wife and I. The bed was actually a queen and the room smelled literally like urine. I contacted customer service immediately and literally was disconnected after 45 mins on a call. They kept coming back on the line advising me that they were trying to get someone from the front desk to answer as they also stated the notes for the hotel state they do accommodate babies at no additional charge. I called back again after being disconnected only to be on the call another 20 minutes with an agent named Sara who also stated the hotel shows it could accommodate my child. However, I need to contact the hotel management for issues like this.

Upon leaving the room within an hour, I was asked to leave a statement and my contact info (which they already have) in a black notebook. My contact info was left with a statement. I was told Brenda Trevino would be in contact with me. Up until today, no contact was made and they billed my card even though I never stayed in their hotel and left with my wife and child. I understand being short staffed I todays world , but customer service is non existent and they could care less. Super 8 is a complete joke and will never ever see business...
