I've been coming to Co-Op Records for about 20 years now and I always find something exciting every time I'm there. You can easily spend hours in there. There's something for everyone. Nice selection of all the brand new stuff along with older, used stuff. Prices seem pretty fair. Love seeing the condition and other notes on the vinyl. They even have a nice starter turntables and equipment if you're looking to get into the hobby. I always enjoy looking at the rare stuff and oddities in the display cases. The employees are always very kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. I really appreciate that they have a loyalty / rewards program now... Vinyl, CDS, DVDs, turntables, cleaning kits, T-Shirts, posters, incense, etc... It's just a really fun place to check out if you have some free time and a few extra dollars. They've been around a LONG time for good reason.

Was in town for the marathon. Cool place for sure. Great variety of stuff. Cassettes and used CDs priced a little on the high side, even at buy 3 get 1 free on the CDs. Dude at the counter was nice. Biggest rub. $59.99 for the Jack White Indie Blue - new. Priced at twice of what it should have been. Hate to see stores taking advantage of an item ppl are looking for. Especially new stuff. If it was used, fine, charge what you want. It’s going for $40 plus shipping on the cogs. Probably why they still had two copies. Ended up putting back a bunch of stuff after I saw this. Rubbed me the wrong way.

I live in St Louis and have been a long time patron of Vintage Vinyl. Having grown up in the Quad Cities in the 70s and the 80s, when I am in town I always hit up Frank's in Silvis, originator of the QC pie, don't believe me, order the Deluxe, and you'll see why even Chicago pizzerias advertise that they too serve QC pizza =] Next, it's either Rudy's or Adolphs, RIP ICP (Ice Cream Palace) for QC tacos, the best in the Midwest. I would put Jim's Ribs and his legendary bony box with plenty of his BBQ sauce on my must visit QC itnerary, but alas another QC gastronomic God now dead and gone. That leaves me to my jam, CooP, I loved you then, I love you more now. Keep flying the CooP freak flag high. See you...
