The Hobby Depot — Attraction in Monroe

I stopped in Monroe specifically to visit this shop. I enjoyed spending time looking for things I wanted. I could have easily spent a few hours there. The owner is very knowledgeable and took an interest in talking with me about the hobby. I plan to visit any time I can and would recommend this place to anyone interested in trains and railroads. The Hobby Depot has everything you need to start a model railroad from locomotives, freight and passenger cars, buildings, scenery materials, and so on. Buy local, while you still can! Hobby shops like this are tough to find. Brian is a good guy who is friendly and inviting. I love spending money here whenever I am in town. It feels like il doing more than buying train stuff, as I am supporting one of the last local spots to buy trains...
