The wine tasting/pairing was great and Brett our waiter "sommelier" was prompt as could be. The food selections on the rectangular platter were delightful with gourmet peppered salami to go with bolder red wines, several very good cheeses (Monroe you know) and some fruit/berries, Greek olives and a couple flat bread crackers. Very nice We then ordered a new menu item . . a combo of 3 sliders. Pulled duck, pheasant and beef each came with amazing melted cheese chosen just to complement the meats. They also came with a nice side of the best onion rings. We selected the Dragon Tears Merlot to go with this culinary repast. We were there on the Sunday before Labor Day and it was quite busy on the outside patio area, but only a few inside. Take note, depending on when you dine, it may be a modest wait and we did not experience that since we arrived at about 2PM. We had a nice leisurely time there and a wine tasting does take time. In fact, Brett and two other young ladies were stellar in attending to several tables also doing the pairing. So come prepared to have a relaxing none rushed time to savor and enjoy. This is gourmet at very reasonable prices and not fast food. We will be back and took home 3 wines and stopped in at the Minhas package store across the street for a case of Minhas Shore Break hefeweizen and some Uptown Girl shorties...

Service great, decor great, execution of the food great. But being a chef for years I could tell ingredients, plating, portions, and cleanliness need help. Not a good sign when dishes don’t taste fresh, tasting the dirtiness of the grill and fryer oil. All be it a Sunday. Also I could tell where butter should have been used it was butter constitute. Plus no way a real chef would serve me a burger in a bowl or make poutine with bland gravy and on bottom of poutine makes no sense. Sad potential but clearly who ever owns this place doesn’t care to use fresh ingredients, pay a staff to keep a clean grill and fryer oil, also when you order a shrimp topper on pasta and it’s advertised as butterflied Shouldn’t have to deshell it. Brought my girl to celebrate a promotion and for 63 dollars for two people don’t want to eat a burger out of a bowl, get unfresh pasta, cheap store bought pesto, dirty grill garlic bread, poutine with gravey with little favor and on the bottom, plus watching everyone walking out with to go boxes never a good sign. Heard good things sad. Hope they take my criticism and do better! If everything was on par would have been happy to be 80. Also I did leave 25...

We decided to give this place a try after some friends recommended it. Probably the worst dining experience/decision we’ve made in a long time. Please keep in mind we were only one of two tables in the whole place on a calm Sunday lunch. The waitress didn’t bring my wife’s drink she ordered. Took three reminders and about 25min for them to finally make it, while the wait and bar staff stood around. Finally received our food order, which took a ridiculous amount of time, and they only made three of four meals. Again, my wife’s order was not made. We finally were able to find an employee well after her meal didn’t show and asked them to just cancel the order. We all were done eating already. They then said they were making it now. The fried chicken sandwich showed and was absolutely incinerated and was inedible. They even acknowledged it was very bad. There was no way we were waiting even more for another meal to be made. The rest of our food was very subpar straight out of the freezer or jar. Very disappointing especially considering the very high cost. We do not recommend this place and...
