Marina Ayala is the sole purpose for this 1 star review. I'm not even sure were to begin, but with the enthusiasm that Marina carries with her, I think she should be working at the snack bar selling hot dogs. Ideally, someone only gets married once. But the information we had to DRAG out of her, versus her just telling us the programs and the ins and outs, was unbelievable. This was my wedding day and I was always so excited to see what came next, until Marina (who by the way never even cared to get to know me or my wife's name after we'd spent OVER twenty thousand dollars) always gave us the impression we were bothering her. It was lie after lie with this lady and I asked my wife why are we even bothering to deal with this woman? She told me because she picked up the phone. There is MAJOR construction going on all over that golf course, that Marina promised would be cleared up by the time we got married. She was so nonchalant when she said it, I knew she just sweeping it under the rug. With this "platinum package" we ordered, it was supposed to come with a cake. When we asked Marina about our cake she had a blank stare on her face and asked why we hadn't ordered it by now and told the bakery they would take care of it. First off, which bakery? Second off, HOW WOULD WE KNOW THAT WE NEED TO DO THIS?! Mind you we flew into town from Arizona to get married there, a little more information and just a slight bit of enthusiasm would've gone a long way. I realize it was us getting married, not her, but you would've thought we were one of her bill collectors, with how she treated us. Food came out well over an hour late and was colder than the night air in mid October in Los Angeles. Marina I hope you're reading this, because I know good and well it wasn't just me and my wife you treat this way. It's almost like because you didn't PERSONALLY know us, you didn't want to help us. And lastly, the day of our actual wedding, she handed us an envelope with all the wrong food tickets in there. Why? Because we were handed the wrong bag with the wedding party's name blasted over the front. She either didn't know, didn't care, or most likely never bothered to remember our names to begin with. If Marina Ayala answers the phone (easy to identify, you already sound like you're pissing her off as soon as she answers, and she'll expect you to know the answers to the questions you're asking her) when you call, don't hang up because it's a nice place, just ask to speak to someone else. She is just not a nice person, and I am convinced my wedding would have been much better, had she had the day off that day and...

Read moreThe Venue Is nice looking that is about it staff needs some work
While the venue was nice the service not so much. Starting with Marina I was hesistant because upon searching the reiviews her name kept popping up as being the main driver for the bad review and I agree. She was unorganized on all fronts after we signed the contract. I had to hound her to give payment and setup meeting times. She would schedule our appointment and when we showed up she either was not there or suprised to see us. We almost missed ordering our cae because she failed to tell us how or when to order. When we went to to the expo she failed to meet with us to ask if we had question or anything despite being 2 months out from the wedding. On top of that they over booked and moved our room 3 weeks before the wedding. on the day of the wedding no one was around on campus because of some fair it would have been nice to have some one around to ask questions with the $18,000 price tag I do not see much value in this venue as a wedding venue they need a better staff that is more attentive for something as serious as a wedding this place is probably more suited for banquets and other events not wedding...
