Cedar Brake Park — Attraction in Montgomery

This community park still embraces the true spirit of Montgomery, Tx. Yes, I grew up in this area, and with all of the expansion, I must admit, expansion has me a little on edge. Still, growing up in MoCo,Tx one thing that's most commonly felt is comfort for a stranger, and down right willingness to help another in need. Well, yes now there are numerous houses built amongst historical homes. Which one would think the park is over crowded. This simply is not true. I took my two girls yesterday, March 20,2022. Such a beautiful, sunny, breezy, gorgeous day Graced us. At 1300, the park had on one side a quaint birthday party. The gazebo had two people peacefully enjoying their lunch. The bathrooms were clean and tidy. Everyone, each obviously different, still kind. The children were respectful and kind to each other. Because this park is also pet friendly, I was also able to enjoy watching a family play with their energetic, adorable dog. Cedar Brake...

Love this park! Great place to unwind, let the kids run or rent out the pavilion for a family gathering. Multiple playgrounds abound in this natural setting within the classic City of Montgomery. One note of warning, be aware of the speed limits surrounding the City of Montgomery as the City Police Department demands strict adherence. This location is a safe park as the City Police Department is located just across the highway from the park.

There is a sidewalk surrounding the entire park area for walking. There is ample parking, except during the summer weekends when parking becomes difficult. There are multiple picnic areas with in-ground grills/picnic tables which are also on their own ...

Very charming park, with all its street lamps, fountain, & small pedestrian bridge. Also Love the many trees providing shade through out the park, this is always a plus in Texas! Picnic table, bbq pit & a trash can sit on a concrete area & are spaced apart enough to have your own space. There are benches close to the playscape. A large pavilion with several benches, located right next to playscape, making it a great location for a kids party, must provide your own tables & chairs. A walking path encircles the park.
