The Shoppes at Eastchase — Attraction in Montgomery

11/2018 It was a very rainy Friday & when you have a outside type mall where you have to go outside store every time you want to go to another store... well its a downfall to have shops like these. Its a nice complex, stays very busy & for the most they have traffic issues taken care of, like i said for the most. Its Friday around 5-6pm & traffic coming onto mall from Taylor road is backed up over the interstate blocking others from there destination. The way they have this entrance needs to be reevaluated again & something else tried cause this is a mess. The only other issues with traffic are after you do get thru red light your backed up again due to 1st light in front of Starbucks. But again these are at this time of the day. The other area of concern is down at the old navy parking lot, every entrance/exit needs a light. Its awful trying to exit there and try to head back towards the main shopping center. Again its this time of day, weekends & holidays. Which we are starting now with Christmas. Safety is great, plenty of shopping stores, great parking, lots of restaurants in all ranges of cost. There's something for everyone, unless you're a baby, toddler or... husband. Guess you could go over to the pet store. But there's even medical, cellular co., banking i think isn't out there but too far away. I may be wrong but I don't recall a bank. They have a website and it list all stores, etc. & Activities. Very disappointed. We arrived at 4:50PM on a Friday and the restaurant was not that busy. We were immediately told would be at least 10 minutes wait due to shift changes with servers. Ended up about 10 other couples waiting as well. Several walked out and went somewhere else. Not very good business. Just go ahead and seat people. We'll we waited and got sat. We loved our server, we got our drinks fast and got our order in. I got a ribeye steak, my daughter got fish sticks and my wife got a salad. An hour and 20 minutes later they bring my daughters fish sticks out and tell me my steak still has to cook. About 15 minutes late they finally bring my food and it was raw. I had ordered my steak med well. It was rare and very bloody. My wife and daughter have now finished there meal and I am just now sending mine back to be cooked. This lady named Amy finally brings it back out and just says can you cut into that. By that time I didn't even want it. I ate some and asked for my check. No apologies from management, no offer for discount. Server was very apologetic. We paid and left for the last time. We will...

Update: they now charge a $4.00 convenience fee/service charge when purchasing the gift cards. Bummer!

I may just buy store gift cards from now on.

Love their gift cards!!! If you need to get a gift card, this is the place to go. You can use the gift card at any of the Eastchase stores...make sure to get a list because the number of shops is HUGE and growing!!! For example, you could use the gift card at Dillards or Michaels. Also, absolutely love their farmers market. I am sad because I didn't have a chance to go today, but I try to go every Saturday. They have security patrols there which is great!!! Target needs to have their own security in their parking lot though because they have had 2 incidents there in the past few months.
