I visited the restaurant Wednesday 1/27/2021 in the evening around 7:15pm. When I entered the restaurant there was a young lady sitting behind the hostess stand on her cell phone, a couple of minutes later the hostess came around the corner with several bags in her hand addressing a take out order. She asked where I wanted to sit and I explained that it was just me so the bar. In the bar there were 3 tables, 1 right by the door and 2 tables which were empty but had not been cleaned. I explained it was cold and that I didn't want to be right by the door so I would wait for the 2 tables to get cleaned and she could sit me at one. 17 minutes later as the young lady continued surfing on her phone at the hostess station and the hostess that simply vanished I sat down at the table in front of the door. I assumed someone at the hostess station would see me and bring me menus or that the waitress in that station would see me and bring me a menu and get my drink order. 11 minutes later I walked over to the hostess stand and asked the lady on her phone if I could get a menu and she immediately jumped up and apologized, brought me a menu and silverware at my table and asked my drink order. On the way to the bar she stopped to talk to other coworkers so my drink order didn't make it as she socialized. Finally my waitress arrives and gets my drink order. She then asks my order which was a house salad no tomatoes, the tuna medium rare with pan asian sauce, rice, broccoli and a side of wood grilled shrimp. She writes nothing down (Instant red flag) I I am asked for bread to which I reply yes. I get my salad, no bread. No biggie it eventually comes. My order comes and my Tuna couldn't have been any bigger than 3 ounces, way overcooked, warm not hot and no shrimp. My waitress askes if I needed anything and honestly I just figured she forgot and didn't want to wait for it to come out. A few minutes later with my meal nearly done she comes out to tell me my shrimp was nearly done cooking. It eventually came out after I had my meal completely finished and those were actually hot. I get my bill and in my head I am thinking surely since she COMPLETELY forgot my shrimp I would get comped, nope. I had a $100 bill BTW, I even ordered a bottle of wine so I wasn't some cheapskate. So here is where I am at, we are in the middle of a pandemic, there are restaurant's shuttering their doors daily and there are an army of waitresses and hostesses in other states that would literally die for the ability to go to work. My service and food should be nothing less than spot on considering 25% occupancy and the fact businesses are hurting and should ensure that when we go to eat we have a great experience because lets face it, going out to eat during this pandemic is a luxury not a necessity. I shouldn't have to stand around for 20 minutes like a totem pole, I'm 6'1 and not hard to miss, your take out orders aren't more important than your in person dining, if you are in the weeds ask for help. Write things down, I appreciate people that have a photographic memory but I would rather my food be right for absolute sure, and lastly if you goof up, own up to it. We are all human and mistakes happen sometime but don't make it seem like preparing shrimp is as time consuming as making a beef wellington. I pray my next in dining experience...

This restaurant doesn't even deserve one star, but you can't post without one. We had party of about 15 on a Saturday night. The restaurant was basically dead! We first order drinks, well should I say half the table did. The other half had to wait another 45 minutes to wave the waitress down to order. First person's drink was so strong it was undrinkable. Another persons ordered a Moscow mule which tasted like vodka and water. He politely asked for another one. The waitress returns stating they were out of ginger..... Okay well how about you don't make someone a drink that you do not have the proper ingredients for! We waited and waited and they eventually took our meal order. The food was nothing to write home about. The spinach that was slopped into a bowl had absolutely no flavor. The potato au gratin tasted like the fake nacho cheese stuff from the fair. Three hours into our arrival we start to receive our tickets. I have never in my life seen such terrible customer service. They couldn't figure out who ordered what, and then went on to blame us saying we had moved around. Which we hadn't moved once for the record! Not a single ticket was right. The waitress charged one of the girls for a house salad that she was offered as one of her side options. One person was charged for two meals, and half the tables drinks. So on and so on. They kept peoples credit cards so long we had to go ask for them back! We still had not received ours in the whole 30 minutes of sorting tickets. I proceed to what appeared to be the manager and informed him of all the events of the evening. Advised him I still need my ticket, and will not keep waiting to pay. Get the ticket. News alert it was all wrong. He never came to apologize to the table nor did he offer any discounts of any kind for all our troubles. Needless to say we will not...

I have traveled to Montgomery for business recently and decided to give this a try. I have typically always been very satisfied with my meal when dining here. On this particular weeknight, I arrived around 5:30, and the dining area was mostly empty. I was told there would be a 45 minute wait, I would need to go to the bar. I really get irritated when restaurants try to push single people to the bar as their only option. I went and waited forever for the bartender to come and take my drink order. I asked for water, that did not come, just the glass of wine. I ordered a salad, still no water, 2nd request. I ordered the special which was a coconut shrimp with a risotto. My water finally arrived, at the same time my entree. When the dish arrived, the risotto looked the consistency of oatmeal with pineapple bits in it. It was truly awful! I usually don’t send things back but I did that side, it was inedible. The coconut shrimp at least was edible, but nearly overcooked. To charge the prices you are, this should be better than Red Lobster, but I would compare the meal to the same quality, which is a shame, this location needs to do better. Where’s the manager? Where’s the person overseeing what’s coming out of the kitchen? The owner should be embarrassed by what’s coming out of this kitchen. I will not be returning here when traveling back to Montgomery. If you’re thinking seafood, there is a much better option in town with truly fresh seafood to get the quality for your money, trust me, go there, not here. Also, I REALLY hope I don’t receive their automated response about how elated they are I enjoyed my experience. Sadly, there’s no one local even...

My daughter arranged a reservation weeks in advance for her wedding rehearsal dinner at Bonefish on Friday, December 8, hosting a party of 35. The service was commendably prompt, with waiters who were incredibly attentive and kind, ensuring a delightful evening. The food, undoubtedly, was a highlight—exquisitely delicious and satisfying. I ordered the parmesan-crusted trout and enjoyed every bite. However, I must emphasize a crucial detail for larger parties: the necessity to order from a limited special menu. While this was communicated, several members of our party seemed shocked that the full menu wasn't available. The one thing that dimmed an otherwise fantastic experience was the last-minute demand by the manager that all 35 guests divide their tickets into no more than 5 groups. This demand persisted for over an hour, causing significant delays and inconvenience for members of the wedding party, many of whom had traveled great distances and were ready to get some rest. Regrettably, the manager's focus on not inconveniencing the wait staff ended up significantly inconveniencing the customers, disrupting their schedules, and causing unnecessary stress. This unfortunate incident overshadowed an otherwise delightful evening and marred an otherwise exceptional service and cuisine.
