The bad? Not always a fan of the house music. Plus it is quite loud. The great? The food. The people. I have yet to get a bad burger, dog or sandwich from them. The quality is impeccable. All of the toppings are at no extra charge. Their fry servings are a bit misleading. They have paper cups that fries are served in and they don't look like much EXCEPT only about ⅓ of the fries you get are actually IN the cup. The rest are put directly in your bag with your sandwich. I made the mistake of ordering large fries for each of my husband and I the first time we ate there. We were hungry, or thought we were. Unless you are feeding teenage, bottomless stomach, boys... Order a small fry. Our fry order mostly went home with us and I reheated them with cheese and salsa for nacho fries and the second day I reheated the remainder and covered them with chipped beef. The prices do seem high. Easily $30 for 2 people. Between quantity and quality, you get your money's worth. The stores are immaculate. They practice scrupulous food safety. Even just going to shake their fries after touching bread, they change their gloves! And their bathrooms are the cleanest...
Read moreWent there for a late lunch on Saturday. It wasn't crowded but busy. Watched the guy making our burgers as he let them sit open bun for 3-4 minutes after meat was placed on it (last thing to be placed on burger) while he made fries, shuffled around looking at other things to do. By the time he closed our burgers and wrapped them in foil, they were cold. The fries were cold as well. While he made fresh fries, he gave us the ones that had been sitting for 10 minutes. We got our money back and left. I didn't trust the guy not to do something if we asked for a redo. It's gotten to where you can't get hot fresh food anymore. I can count on one hand the places I can trust to order and get hot food. Let's face it, cold food is just unacceptable. If you want to make $15 per hour, then perform at that level; otherwise go back to making $7.50 and give a poor performance. Maybe you can...
Read moreFive guys have some of the best burgers and fries in Montgomery. They use fresh beef and fresh cut french fries. They have peanuts in the shell that you can eat while waiting. They have a scooper and paper bowl for your peanuts. They are relatively expensive but totally worth the money. I always get a small ordet of fries which is huge. It's definitely enough for two people, probably three. They overflow the french fry container. They do have seating on the inside or you can carry out. Unlimited refills on drinks. Associates are friendly and you are served in a timely manner considering they cook your burgers fresh when you order. I give them a thumbs up. So if you love a great burger then Five Guys is place to go. There are approximately two locations...
