I dropped my ipad off Feb 13th.. no email no text no call that my device was ready. I called Feb 24th to check the status and was told yea it's been ready since the 21st. I go to the store to pick up my device and it has 3 scratches and several other imperfections in the screen that cannot be wiped off. When I asked about it the sales lady that checks the devices in acted as if she was annoyed by my mentioning of it. One of the repair techs comes out to try to explain why the screen was still showing scratches in it and the explanation he gave did not make sense being that the screen was only cracked in the corner not the entire screen. He said he would look at it and asked if I could come back later. I returned after work only for the sales lady to try and tell me the same thing that the tech said and he was conviently gone for the day and so was the manager. The sales lady started stating that she don't have time for this and I could speak with the manager when he returns. Another associate came from the back to intervene still stating the same thing. I told her I wanted to leave the device and speak with the manger about. I requested to check the device back in..the sales lady was visibly annoyed she asked me to write my name and number down but went to assist others that was waiting and assisted 4 people while I stood there waiting for her to check my device back in only for her to tell after I stood there all that time that I didn't need to wait on her to scan it back in. Read moreMy black glass fell off within 3 hours of picking up my repaired phone. THIS PLACE HAS BAD-QUALITY REPAIRS, BAD-QUALITY CONTROL, AND BAD-QUALITY PROCESSES. They can't even ensure your phone doesn't come apart, let alone provide protection from the outside dust and humanity. Humanity will eventually destroy your phone.
My previous phone died of "water damage," I suspect that humanity slowly got in due to no glue and/or reusing of old glue.
I used this store to fix 3 phones. The first experience was with the mobile repair van, which was a good experience. The iPhone that was fixed by mobile repair remains fully functional; it was properly repaired with quality parts and glue. Even though it's not supposed to be water resistant after the repair, my mother has tested that multiple times. If you are competent, you can make a device like new.
However, this store is TERRIBLE... The second and third phones were fixed at this store. I have concluded from my experience that this store has poor quality control, poor quality parts, poor processes, and very little passion for what they do. The second device mysteriously got corrosion and shortcircuit damage from water. I can ensure no water had touched that device. The only conclusion is that over time, humidity of 80%+ in my work environment plus the moisture from my pockets had caused the damage to my phone. Phones that were water resistant are glued together in the factory. They lack the coatings over the motherboard and components to prevent moisture and humidity from everyday air from corroding and short-circuating your phone over time. I cannot recommend anyone go...
Read moreI dropped off my ps5 to be fixed on a Friday 2/9/24. They told me that it would be 3 to 5 days. They told me they would contact me if it would be longer. They never called me. I called on the fifth day and they told me it was just now being worked on. I explained what the issue when I dropped it off. I feel like I was getting the run around. My ps5 wasn't reading any disc. I explained this to them upon dropping it off.I also explained that we tried everything except a hard reset. Instead of ordering a new disc drive they used a used one they found in the store. By this time they have had my Ps5 for 7 days. Austin proceeds to tell me that he can over night the part and it would be fixed by Saturday afternoon. We'll when we called to check on it Saturday afternoon we were informed that they couldn't even get it overnighted .We had to call to find this out. Didn't even have the decency to call me to inform me about it. Today is Monday 2/19/24 I called for an update and was informed that the technician that was working on it had to leave work early for personal reasons. So again I feel like I'm still getting the run around. I was also informed the other day that it's taking so long is cause of under staffing and people calling out.
