American Deli — Restaurant in Montgomery

A friend recommended American Deli, so I thought I would give it a try at lunch today. Only one other customer was in the restaurant. The attendant at the counter was scrolling on his phone and I felt like I was interrupting him just to ask questions and take my order. I ordered the beef fried rice to go. I decided to go to the restroom while I was waiting and it was dirty with tissue on the floor and no tissue in the holder/dispenser. I walked right back out and let the attendant know that there was no tissue in the ladies room, and yep...he was still engrossed with his phone. My food order came up and I asked if there were sauces to go with it and he told me that the sauce was already on it. I took my order and left. Got home to eat and was so disappointed. I paid $12 for beef fried rice that had no taste whatsoever! It was dried out with what appeared to be green beans, corn, carrots, and very little beef. I do not recommend American Deli and wish I had my $12 back. What a waste. Wish I could leave...

Food was as to be expected. I'm a truck driver, and I have ordered here before and had nonproblems with my food. But.....I just wanted to wash my hands, and they politely told me the restroom was out of order. I know the restroom was working, I was just there a couple of days ago. I get it, people do crazy things in restrooms. So I guess I can't blame them, but I was the only person there, and I knew I was there a couple of days ago, and the sign was up, but it was working. I guess I should have had my headset on...🤦🏾‍♂️😁. Oh well, I ate my wing and fries with "clorox wiped hands."😁🤦🏾‍♂️ I'm beginning to not patronize food business who do not allow customers to use...

I placed an order over the phone for pickup. The young told me it was going to be 5 min. I came within 15 min. When I arrive my food wasn't ready they haven't started making my food (they weren't busy). She told me she didn't start it because people don't pick up the food. I would took that as an answer if the person after me didn't come to pick up their food by phone. I asked why because she asked. Well ma'am that's the point of calling in. I waited and when they did not deliver in the time she stated. I asked for a refund. They do not do refund even if you haven't...
