Type of people who live here: 30-40 something's, professionals, families
My family and I rented at Waterford Townhomes from November 2010 through September 2012. I don't understand why people are complaining about this complex? I have rented many places over the last 10 years and this was by far the best. The ladies in the office were always friendly and willing to help with whatever we needed and I was never treated like a renter . Also the maintenance staff was quick to respond and very friendly. We needed our hot water heater replaced and it was done in one day. I also had to call the emergency maintenance line several times, for things like locking myself out or my pilot light went out on the hot water heater. They were great every time! We have a 4 year old daughter and there were many smaller children that lived in the complex too. The office always has fresh cookies and my daughter LOVED going to get them. The environment was very family oriented and the pool and workout room were nice amenities.
Besides all of this, the owner of the complex is a good person. I don't know him personally but he would come by and talk to my husband in the garage from time to time. We had a few small issues with the apartment while living there and the owner went above and beyond to take care of the problems. I think because he owns the property himself and is not part of a corporation, it makes a huge difference in the quality of care that goes into the property and the staff. I also know that he is on the grounds several times a week since I lived next to the office and would see him. It gave me piece of mind to know how personally vested he was instead of letting someone else run the property. I would highly recommend Waterford to anyone.
The only reason we moved is because we bought a house and...
Read moreMy wife and I have lived at Waterford Village for just shy of three years. They are very friendly people, from the owner to the maintenance personnel. Anything thing we need help with Waterford Village staff was right there to assist. They upkeep their property, and do a great job at it. They are understanding people, and many of the people that work there do or have lived there and can relate. I have heard my neighbors maybe a handful of times in the three years I lived there, and that's because it was a party or something (this should be expected if you live in an apartment). Everyone is friendly, and I have never had to lock my vehicle up. I have accidently left my garage open, and a friendly neighbor closed it for me and let me know the next morning. Thanks John. I have lived in different apartments for about 6 years total now, and hand down Waterford Village Apartments was the best for the price. I will miss the staff dearly as we move out this week into our first home, and I wish them all the best. I will continue to recommend Waterford Village to any future residents. Thanks Waterford for all that you have provided my wife...
Read moreThey keep sending us emails to vote for our favorite charities for them to donate to and telling us to follow them on social media to get news and updates. First off how about spend less time on getting a social media page up and running and more time fixing things like pulling weeds, actually cleaning the pool, and doing general maintence to make rhe place look like it should be for the money that we spend to live here. Also not everyone has social media especially the older residents that live here. Are we not going to get any information anymore unless we get on Facebook? Do better Waterford. Especially when everyone is used to the way it was run then changing everything about the place and messing it all up. Everything seemed to work like a well oiled machine previously. Now the machine doesn't seem...
