Harps Food Stores — Attraction in Morrilton

Back in 1981 or so I lived in pairevll AK .and I worked at frinly food gerocerystor for Mr .Wilkerson as a member of he's meat dep,.. and I. Wes mear,,.. to a very very wonderful. Young lady there her name was Beverley craiene , she was the love of My life for menny menny years. And when I lost her I lost hafe of my life . I plan. On going back up there as soon as I can and try too find some of the people and some land to buy and build. A very nice place to buy and build and raze slot of weaggu cattle and some reg, qorter houreses . And i.well be looking for someone to help me with all the very right hard thing's I well be. Doing and build ing.and buying and breeding and Cross breeding and predicting ..iwelll also be building a wonderful. Meat and gerocerystor with seafood and years round veg,s and butt,s and some of the best and healthy,s hay ,s and feeding feed,s. I hope too get. Up there within approx, 12 too 16 mouthed or so . All of the people here are well-mannered and give excellent service. But my favorite has to be the closing crew of today September 22nd 2024. I am so exhausted from all the running around I've been doing all week, and work. A lot of people know me around town and they don't know what I do. I work for a very prominent hybrid education company that's growing and I often work nights as part of that creating lessons.

Well today, this evening I came into the store exhausted. After I checked out I was so tired that I almost forgot my packages and couldn't remember if I got my change but the employee who is on the last cash register by the pharmacy was super polite and kind. That kid is going places. It's an amazing thing when you're exhausted from work and have disabilities and somebody has patience with you.

So shout out to the crew of my favorite harps, especially the nighttime crew who puts up with the exhausted zombie version of me ! Best harps...

The staff is nice and it's well stocked for a store in the middle of nowhere, but there are a couple things preventing a 5 star review. First: how does a grocery store not have Gold Fish crackers? Second: when this was Big Star it felt like a nice country Grocery. They knew the demographic well. When it transitioned to Harps they made snobby decisions like cutting the deer corn. So now my only option is the local store that's selling it for about 2x its worth, or drive 30 minutes to Wal-Mart. Staff + selection = 4 stars, but bring back the great country...
