One of my favorite park trail systems in the area consisting of mostly flat forest lined paved trails. It isn't all that big but you get a good sense of the wilderness because of all the trees, and flowing Creek. Some of the area is quite boggy, but as I mentioned, it is primarily paved trails in true New Jersey style, so it is okay to come here even after a rain storm without getting muddy. There is no loop, it is basically 2 out and back trails that intersect each other in the middle. Be alert on these trails if walking because there can be a few cyclists on the path. Read moreBeautifully maintained trail system in a quiet and safe area. From this entrance off of Loantaka Way, there are three different main trails you can take. It is about a mile and a half to the Loantaka Park off of South street in Morristown. The porta potties are actually cleaned on a weekly basis.
