I went to a dog days of summer event and I actually left after about 20 minutes. It was a hot day (I know they can't control that) but the tents and vendors were all located on the black asphalt. They had a few pools set up for the dogs, which was nice, but I didn't see anywhere else for the dogs to cool off unless you walk across the parking lot to the trees. It was a dog event that wasn't mindful of the heat, sun or hot asphalt, which was weird to me. There also weren't a ton of vendors out and the only places to eat were actual established buildings, no food trucks or anything...

It's big enough, it's clean, it has obstacles, benches, and it's well shaded.
It's right next to the Boxyard so there're a few good options to eat.
