Tuckaseege Park — Attraction in Mount Holly

This has been a great park for my family and I. We come here for the skate park, baseball fields, and the shelters. My boys are pre teenagers and like to ride their scooter and skate board. It's nice and quiet and has very mild change of elevation for them to go up and down on it. The older kids are nice and respectful of the little dudes. One of my boys decided to try baseball and loves it. The fields are nice and taken care of. Have come to a few activities with our church and used the shelters. Really enjoy the activities we've had. Tables are nice and well loved. They come and empty the trash cans when we're done and get it ready for the next group. Thank you Mount Holly for taking care of this park and giving us a place to enjoy...

One of the neatest places in Mount Holly.. a place to watch sporting events baseball softball soccer even skateboarders have a really cool or as they say:"Rad" place to show off their skills.. with the many walking trails you can experience the woods without leaving the asphalt paths... these are also accessible to wheelchairs.. I prefer the walk and access to the river to eat a small picnic or watch and paint the beautiful fauna and birds readily seen. My last adventure by the river was treated with an aerial show of osprey diving to take fish from the river an awesome site.. also water foul such as the great crane can be spotted as well as migrating...

I was last here over 8 years ago and only visited the front if the park. Today I checked out the greenway that attaches to the park and runs all the way to the Mount Holly municipal building. What a great mostly level path; paved well, clear and maintained great, and much of it along the river. The park itself has a nice big covered seating area near the soccer fields, a big jungle gym, baby swings, dog park, skateboard park, life sized checker board...I mean more swings for older kids would be nice. But this has most everything else! Wonder why they don't have 5ks here? Start at the park and end at the police station with its great...
