China Two — Restaurant in Mount Holly

Do not stop here! This place is unsanitary. Upon entering the pimple face lady did not greet or ask if she could help me. She just gave me a look and I ordered the food. I normally cancel my order and leave at this point but my son had to have chinese food and I didnt want to dissapoint him. As I was standing there I saw one of the cooks put food in the palm of his hand and carry over to the pan to be cooked. I also watched him arrange veggies in a food dish without gloves and washing his hands. Fortunately I was ordering fried chicken and rice (cost me $8.06 including tax, as you can see in the picture that is not $8.06 worth of food and the rice has 6 shrimps in it). The lady used tongues to pick up the chicken I ordered so I was ok. The food is over priced and portion size extra small. I explained to my child this will be the 1st and last time coming to this place, I would take a peanut butter and jelly sandwich before I eat here. Gross, Rude , keep looking. Ok so as a food critic from Brooklyn, I grew up with Chinese restaurants on every corner. Really good Chinese food. It's been pretty hard trying to find a spot that can compare. In my current area there are about 4 Chinese spots. This by far has surpassed each one. I took a look at the reviews prior to ordering and of course they were mixed, but there was a common theme with the bad reviews and that was how bad the food tasted. So skepticism definitely began to set in, but I am so glad I just went ahead to try it for myself. I ordered the boneless spare rib tips with pork fried rice which was phenomenal. Plus no other Chinese spot around me has this item, I also ordered an order of chicken wings that were the best I've tasted in a long time. Some egg rolls and an order of shrimp fried rice, needless to say this will now be my goto Chinese restaurant when I am craving Chinese food. NOT GOOD! The service was mediocre at best. The lady at the front was more interested in her cell phone conversation than serving the customer, and the food was beyond disappointing. My Dad's shrimp fried rice was about 6 baby shrimp and a chopped onion piled on top of a greasy pile of old rice. My sesame chicken combo was under cooked. At first I thought it may have been a couple of pieces, but after cutting into several pieces and seeing pink, I decided to take it back. I nicely told them I wasn't comfortable eating the dish, but they tried to convince me that dark meat is pink. I've been cooking for years and have never known leg or thigh meat to be red. The vegetable egg roll was not done in the center, and even the crispy noodles were soggy.

I gave the one star because they did refund me for the under cooked chicken meal. I would have rather had some good takeout on a rainy evening after a long day of work. Instead, I had to make a second trip to the restaurant, and I'm still hungry......
