This tour comes with the purchase of tickets for the SSYorktown tour at Patriot's Point. It is both inside a "bunker" (very well air conditioned) and outside (so whatever the weather is). It has small boardwalks, hilly areas, and some places with stairs - so I wouldn't necessarily say handicapped accessible but depends on the ability. There is a tower to climb, some exhibits with a few stairs to step up, and a couple little trailers where they have videos running on a loop (one is 7m one is 14m - both have ac inside). The whole tour is self-guided but has plenty of signs and placards giving loads of information. Restrooms and fountains at the main...

Education is the best way to removing ignorance and this exhibit fulfills that goal for many age groups. My teenage sons gained a better insight on an event that is almost removed from the history they learn elsewhere so it doesn’t need to be the most intense realistic thing in the world. Older generations who did live through this time can appreciate a more up close look at some things they may have only read about or seen on the news. Add this into the ships and this was a good...

Informative and emotionally moving exhibit! My father-in-law served in Vietnam and later died of complications from exposure to Agent Orange. My mother-in-law and I both walked through this exhibit trying to hold back the tears. Thank you to the wonderful Veterans who volunteered at this exhibit on the morning of Wednesday, March 20. Very respectful gentleman and they had lots of information to share. I highly recommend this exhibit if you are visiting...

What a great way to experience a moment in history. We visited with my Vietnam Veteran father and my kids. It was great to watch him explain to his grandchildren how base camps were set up and some of the equipment he used and was familiar with. Worth the money especially since one admission also includes the Yorktown.

This is really done good! Lots of love is put into the display and all the effetcs. From the wrecked jeep smoking to all the sound effects. Altough there aren't that many exhibits, I liked it. The ac is extremly strong when you get inside the little museum. Highy recommended. My favorite exhibit at Patriots Point.
