Marina Store — Local services in Mount Pleasant

Last year, we stayed at the Charleston Harbor Resort and visited the Marina Store, where I found a unique pair of dolphin earrings. A few months later, I lost one and called the store, hoping they could help identify the artist so I could replace them. The young woman I spoke with went above and beyond—she gave me her cell number and asked me to send a photo of the remaining earring. She quickly identified the artist, and I was able to purchase another pair online.

When we returned in May, we made a point to stop by the Marina Store again—and to my delight, the same young lady was there. Naturally, I couldn’t resist buying another beautiful pair, this time sea turtle earrings. I told her I’d try not to lose one again… but made no promises!

Overall a very cute shop. I had to go in for pool toys and found one that worked. There's snacks and drinks, clothes, hats, the usual gift shop stuff and it was very clean. There's Tylenol and typical forgotten items for sale. I got some cute earrings and a coffee cup. Lots of great sunscreen choices from Sun Bum to SuperGoop.

I think the lady someone else was referring to in another review might be an older blonde, she was definitely an intense rude vibe not holding the door when she walked in right before me and didn't acknowledge my existence although she was standing behind the counter at one point. The younger woman behind the counter was super helpful and polite.

The shop IS slightly out of the way if you're at the pool, I just took one of the cruiser bikes...

My family and I are vacationing in Charleston and found this cute little shop - once we got in there, as soon as we started looking around, the lady kept watching us like a hawk. I couldn’t even enjoy myself or take my time, because I felt that we were unwelcome since we had kids. I watched her with other customers and she was perfectly pleasant. As we moved around the shop, she started going around looking for things on the ground “just in case” there were items on the floor, though I was careful to make sure my kids were being respectful and not leaving stuff laying around.
