I went to McIntyre Hall to see a Bronn Journey Christmas Concert. I had wonderful box seating on the second floor balcony, left of center stage. Box seating feels a bit luxurious and private. I felt like Royalty sitting in those seats!. Seated above the stage you have an amazing view of everything happening during the performance , both on the stage and in the audience. This concert had much audience participation and choir members throughout the auditorium, so it was wonderful to also see the enthusiastic audience participation from the balcony seats. I highly recomend box seating! The box seating is very convenient for slipping in and out of your seats , without disturbing any other patrons. You have a private entrance to your seats .👏👏 I've included photos. Arriving at McIntyre Hall, I was delighted by Beautiful Christmas lighting, ornamental trees, wreaths, garland and lights up the stairwells , and that Beautiful Holiday Ambiance ( see photos🎄). In the lobby area is a bar serving cocktails, hot drinks and cookies before the performance and during intermission. Stand up tables for enjoying drinks are also in the lobby. Access the second floor by stairs or elevator ( disability access and parking). The main hall's aesthetic is modern and simplistic, streamlined for sound, I would say. Warm colored wood panels line the walls and ceiling, with beautiful lighting. The sound in the auditorium was superb. A large harp was a main attraction of the performance. It resonated heavenly sounds , vibrating throughout the room. The violins, viola, cello, Glockenspiel, xylophone and precision instruments could all be uniquely heard. The incredible 30 person choir resonated with astounding power. I was 💯° satisfied with all aspects of my experience at McIntyre Hall. The kind of experience that has me raving about it to everyone. I highly recomend this venue . I can't wait to attend another event here. So enjoyable and I'm thankful for the quality experience!

Read moreThe hall is a wonderful venue for performances. Good amount of parking and nice seating pretty much anywhere in the venue. I give only three stars because of the treatment we received tonight. While at the bar we purchased a double drink and a soda. We paid by tapping our card and walked away. We were not too far away when the server accosted us, claiming we still owed $3. I have no idea HOW that can happen when all we did was tap our card and confirm payment (it's not like we can randomly decide not to pay the whole bill!). We did go back over, confused, and instead of causing any problems paid the extra $3. It was an embarrassing experience to be hunted down for an amount I don't believe we owed. The claim was that we were suppose to pay $16 for a double drink and $3 for a soda and then a gratuity. The card was originally charged with the amount which WE believe that we should have been charged for a $3 soda and a $13 double drink (according to the sign above the bar) and the gratuity. We have tickets for future shows and WILL NOT be having any visits to the refreshments as this is the 2nd event they have made mistakes charging us. With this time chasing us across the lobby, loudly proclaiming we owe money was completely...
Read moreWe went to see the Nutcracker ballet here and I liked the seating because I got a box seat and it was a great view of the show. I recommend getting a box seat because it's not too expensive if you get them in advance. Planning is recommended. When you get there you can pre order your drinks for intermission which I liked because you don't have to stand in line during intermission. The dancers were smiling and they looked like they love what they do. Support the local Fine Art's and...
