Not at all accessible/disabled friendly. Entering through a door that was very evidently wide open, that avoided the huge staircase entrance, on the side facing the dining hall, a number of people entered, trying to find an event. There was no apparent way to get to an elevator or other way to get to the seating area. Event staff said we could take steps to get to the loading dock, which was unhelpful as we all needed to avoid steps. Eventually my husband found a maintenance person who directed us to an elevator that was a good distance away. Upon trying to exit the building after the event, exceedingly rude staff informed us that we could not exit the way we came in and instead needed to exit through a construction area on the opposite side of the building. Not only was this area treacherous, perhaps dangerous, for those of us with mobility challenges, it more than doubled the distance required to safely get to our destination as the sidewalk was closed. Disgusted with how we and others with mobility issues were treated by staff and put in a situation that was unacceptable for safety. A reminder and review of ADA might be in order for this institution, and a lesson in civility (at minimum)...

They made my diabetic mother throw away her bottle of water that she needs because she's diabetic, and told us to buy one inside. OK no problem they have a Pepsi machine that costs $1.25, OH WAIT, they turned them off because they don't make them enough money so we have to go to the concession stand where we have to pay $3.00 for a bottle of water. Read moreBall State University basketball and volleyball venue. I've never doled out the cash to try the food, so not sure what to say on that----likely typical of such places. But, BC the concourse is so wide it is great for walking throughout the day for those of us on campus that need to stretch our legs. Regarding the viewing of sports......no bad seats or obstructions. Seat backs 2/3 of the way up....metel bench...
