Pizza King — Restaurant in Muncie

One of the worse server experiences I've ever had. After a 26 hour drive back to Indiana all we wanted was Pizza King. The pizza was amazing don't get me wrong. Much anticipated after 4 years of waiting. Our server on the other hand was a miserable old shrew who clearly needed a day off. She was rude when she took our drink order; huffing and saying "is that all?" 5 times during our order. Just to make it clear we were a party of three and did not require a lot of attention as we were too tired to talk and just wanted to eat. After she took our order she made a big deal of our IDs since they were from a different state. Being from Indiana myself, I hope other non-state visitors had a much better experience since Pizza King is amazing.

After we were settled, and had our drinks, she then brought out our food. She grabbed the wrong pizza from the kitchen then upon realizing it, at our table, proceeded to bad mouth the kitchen when it was obviously her fault. She also made us feel bad by being so extra about the situation. Heaven forbid she had to walk back to the kitchen; a whole 20 extra feet.

Tip: visit another Pizza King location and stay away from the old shrew...

I would like to be able to only leave 2 and a half stars While the food quality may be good and food is tasty as ever, the service at this location is sub par. The attitude you get just isn't worth the hassle. If you want great food and excellent service venture out to the Yorktown location. The servers and cooks really have their act together. They're still wearing masks even though they really don't have to anymore.The store was super clean and the staff seem to enjoy their jobs. Easily the best customer service around! It wasn't even my food and I was thoroughly impressed!!! (I'm a Grubhub driver) They offered me something to drink while I waited for my order. Which is something that's never happened in any other location especially this one.The Bethel Ave store dont seem to care if you come back there or not.I have been there only a couple of times.The only decent experiences I've had is they have a restroom you can use while you're there. Update: Changed rate level due to the wait time being not that bad. It was the service that was lacking. Since are no half stars I raised to a 3 star rating.Still not a 4 but 1 star...

Ok so the food tasted great, but the service was so bad it makes for a funny comedy story. As a party of 4, we were the only people in the building as our waitress said, "Sorry it'll be a while, we are just so swamped." We took that as a joke, oh boy were we mistaken. We got our drinks 25 minutes after we placed our food and drink orders. By the time we got our drinks, one other party, this one of six people, had found their way into the pizza king. They had placed their order and their food came out before ours.... Except their food was given to us. As we gave the food back, we noticed something odd. The cooks were not wearing gloves. How nice! So after and hour and 10 minutes we were given the right food after 2 more failed attempts. Then we had to convince the waitress to give us the meal for free instead of full price. Great...
