I am deeply disappointed with my very 1st visit. I got to the concert an hour and half early and parked in handicap because I am handicap and have a pass. I parked in an appropriate parking spot near the entrance along with others who parked there. My mother who was with me is also handicap and has a hard time walking long distances, as do I. Since we got there early we waited in the car. This parking attendant who showed up around 6:15 waited until 6:30, when we were getting out of the car to go to the show, tells we have to park in the parking garbage. I said what about the others parked here. He said I'm waiting for dispatch to find out if they need to move. I said but why do I have to move. He said I would be towed like the others. So I moved and my mom had wait on me out front and then I had to walk stairs which I'm not comfortable doing. After the show, all the cars were there. And I had to again take stairs which I shouldn't had to. I'm deeply disappointed with how my mom and I were treated. We were discriminated against and I'm very upset. I want my money back for the tickets. Let me know what information you need...

If there is anything I will surely miss from my college years, then it will be attending a show at Emens. Emens theatre is what introduced me to my love of musicals, classic stories, and performing arts. They invite famous bands, dance troupes, and aspiring actors from all over world, which ensures that every show is full of variety and high quality. For example, I attended a musical, Sleeping Beauty, which was performed by a traveling, professional Russian ballet. Needless to say, it was refreshing and heartwarming. There is always this moment of quiet anticipation and excited expectation before show starts and a feeling of satisfaction and everlasting wonder after the show ends. I look forward to attending more shows at Emens when I return as a...

It's beautiful on the outside and very clean on the inside. Looks a little dated. The very small bathroom I used was very clean, however it needs to be updated. I don't know how many times you can paint over brick, but I think I would look nicer if they just updated it a little bit. It was nice for a graduation ceremony. For myself being from out of town, parking is a problem and it's not very easy for older people to navigate. I refer to my inlaws. They're in their 70's and have walking canes, not wheelchairs. Maybe if a shuttle service was available for people like them it would have been more enjoyable instead of trying to find ways to pick them up with out a...

Always a great place designed for a concert. Our first magic show here in some time for Criss Angel. I know now to get seats more to center of stage as the majority of a magic/illusion show happens dead center. Lots of screens though to see. Meet and greet was held intimately downstairs with no outside public distractions. That was well done. Only complaint is that our canned beer was served pretty much lukewarm, they did not even have a cooler plugged in and just brought in cases. Only thing that kept this from a 5 star all around experience this night.

We saw John Mellencamp at Emens auditorium. It was very clean the staff was helpful and they had everything organized so that we didn’t stand in line too long at all. The major concern was the congested traffic at the intersection of Riverside and McKinley Ave. Parking can be an issue now as well since the parking garage behind Emens is gone. We found a spot at the Cooper Science building and walked to the event to avoid the traffic jam. The show was great and we will definitely go back in the future. Just be prepared for limited parking spaces.
