Can you imagine how highly you'd have to think of yourself to RATE NATURE???!! Reading these are hysterical, but also makes me think human existence was either a mistake or a joke. To keep The Audacity alive, enjoy my rendition of Entitled Baby-boomer. Ahem: "What a waste of a day! We stopped at the attraction expecting our tram to arrive promptly. It was only once we got out of our vehicle did anyone tell us that our attraction was not only actually in the disgusting dirty outside forest BUT they also expected us to hike there! The brochure clearly did not mention anything about our attraction being outside, and in the many, many emails I sent to Mr. Munising did he ever mention it. While I'm on the topic, I also want to complain that it was like Mr. Munising never even got my emails: I told him I demanded the waterfall for at least 24 hours for our personal use but there were at least 3 families frolicking at our waterfall. Most of them were quite rude when I ordered them to stop taking pictures of my waterfall and extradite themselves and their small joyful children from our property immediately. Happy families making unforgetable memories really aggravates my fibromialgia. The last family, who were clearly some kind of foreigners, had the gall to try to lie to me about my private booking! They foolishly attempted to trick me by telling me that my natural attraction exclusive use contracts were just an illegible photocopy of my laptop screen! (They were clearly having issues speaking American-no matter how loud I screamed at them, they refused to leave!) I don't know if they have private property where ever they come from, but they refused to vacate. So we were forced to flee back to our vehicle. (I obviously called the police on them, they were clearly up to no good and we don't need another 9/11 due to their kind.) I was also unable to locate any management to request my rightful refund; although we spent zero dollars, I need to be compensated for all my pain and suffering. After all: the customer is always right! Also, it was far too hot for my liking. They need to fix the air conditioning after they build the tram to and from the attraction. Only go here if you like nature and hiking and...
Read moreIf I knew it was going to be the last time I was going to see you for awhile I would have stayed longer and savored the moment. Till we meet again dear friend hopefully sooner than later. Not only is it a pretty waterfall in a very picturesque setting that is worth a visit in any season. But it also happens to be one of the easiest ones to access during the winter months. Finally made it to the Pictured Rock National Lakeshore during a winter of significant snowfall and was really taken aback by the snow depth. This winter it is a snow lovers paradise and haven to Lake Superior ice fishers for sure. As well as cross country skiers, or snow shoe enthusiasts and not to mention the ice climbers. If you love winter this would be the...
Read moreIf you visit Munising, this is a must visit location! Munising falls is a very easy, very short walk, down a paved path to get to the falls. Once you reach the falls, there are stairs you can choose to go up to get different views, but it's optional. The best view is right there in front of you.
There is a nice big parking lot, a small visitors area, and modern bathrooms as well. I advise you take a bathroom break here if you are out adventuring for the day!
This waterfall is beautiful in all seasons! As many times as I have seen it, I am always excited to go back and...
