Absolutely gorgeous and one of my favorite waterfalls in the UP. It's not large, but so picturesque. We went the end of July after a decent period of rain and it was flowing wonderfully.
Park on Washington Street next to a small brick building and then cross the street over a guard rail and you will see a small opening in the trees on the far side that has signage and some wood boardwalks. Upon entering the forest you are met with two signs, M falls and O falls. The O falls to the right will take you to Tannery Falls. A short but slightly challenging hike is all it takes.
