tl;dr - Tyson knows how to run an event, his staff is well trained, clearly well taken care of, and enthusiastic about their job, and the facility itself is in incredibly good condition. The level of athleticism and maturity demonstrated by the personnel here is something from one of those "back in my day" conversations you hear old people talk about.
The front desk staff, Alison and Sydney B. were all smiles, polite, professional, and ensured all 60 of my waivers (yes, 60 day campers accompanied me on this trip) were filled out and registered. They never once acted like this was a monumental task. Once the kids arrived, George and Keira began getting wristbands on the kid's arms and getting them inside. Sydney S., Sevina, and Caleb immediately started getting everyone rounded up and explaining rules and safety guidelines. What I expected would take 30 or 40 minutes was compressed into less than 10. This is completely due to the level of professionalism these young men and women exhibited.
Once inside the gym area they organized games and activities, and TOOK OVER. So much so, my counselors asked me what they were supposed to be doing. All of this while Julia and Graham ran the Ninja Camp that is offered by Ninja Nation. There had to be over 80 kids in this gym and never once did they seem overwhelmed or stressed. One of my campers even forgot closed toed shoes. They didn't tell me, didn't make a big deal about it. Just gave her a pair of loaner sneakers, and let her play.
During lunch time, two of the young ladies (Sevina and Kiera I am pretty sure) got everyone in the party room and started with lunch. What struck me was they were calling kids by their names. Children they had known less than an hour.
I cannot say enough good things about the people that work here. They are well exemplary humans, and set a very high bar for anyone at their age. Tyson, the manager, clearly has an eye for talent, and the professionalism to train and mentor his employees to the highest degree.
The facility is immaculate. The equipment is clean. The safety measures (pads, mats, etc.) are meticulously placed and in incredible condition. Tiny details like a potentially dangerous screw on some of the hang boards have tape to cover them to prevent injuries. The restrooms are better than Buc-ee's, and I would challenge any hospital in the US to challenge their cleaning standards. The obstacles are challenging, but not intimidating. The overall feel of the gym is inviting, if a little overwhelming. You want to try everything. This is a place to train your body and mind, but dang is it fun.
Thank you Ninja Nation Murphy, you guys are amazing, your gym is amazing, and I can't wait to come back and see you again...

(I rated this facility 5* not long ago. My kids play here entire summer and really love it (paying close to $1000). However, their last day here was terrible! My last monthly membership purchased on July 24 and supposed to last until August 24. I already confirmed with one reception the day before. However, today Aug 23 when I took the kids in for their last play before the semester start, to say goodbye their teachers, another reception named Abdula refused the kids for coming in with the reason that our membership expired today Aug 23. I don’t understand why I purchased 1 month membership from Jul 24 – Aug 23, but the last day Aug 23 is not counted. He gave lots of explanation that fed me up so I asked for the manager. Abdula said their manager is on vacation... I have to reduce my rating from 5* to 2* because of my disappointment. And the Ninja Nation Murphy just lost one...
Read moreWe had a lot of fun here! It was our first time there last week, and as a promotion they let the whole family participate for an hour, free. Not being in amazing shape an hour was enough to beat ourselves up and use muscles we forgot we had while trying our hand at American Ninja Warrior style obstacles. I can't remember if they have an age limit, but I would not suggest for very young children. 5 would be the youngest age I could imagine being able to use even the simplest equipment/ obstacles. The facilities were clean, the staff was incredibly helpful (explaining complex obstacles, offering tips and demonstrations, etc.), and we got lucky and practically had the place to ourselves on a Saturday afternoon! The entire family loved it, and it is a great workout while having a good time. My kids have asked every day since when we're going back. Would definitely recommend, and we will...
