Cheri Theatres — Attraction in Murray

Worst movie theater experience I’ve had ever in my life. How they have all these kids working behind the counter but no one in the theater monitoring audience behavior is beyond me. The screen itself had two large blue dots that made it a very distracting experience. What was worse there were children in the theater loudly making out the entire movie. We moved twice trying to remove ourselves from the distracting noise, but to no avail because it was that loud. Other kids were clapping, videoing with the flashlight on, dropping stuff loudly, talking, etc. Even after making complaints, no one came to stop the behavior. Don’t spend any money at this theater for a poor experience. Literally go anywhere else for better screen quality, actually able to hear the movie without distractions. You pay for quality screening time by going to the movies, but if I would have known this would occur I would have just waited until I could stream the movie or drive to...

Cheri Theatre has been a good and loyal friend to me since my high school days, when I would be dragged to see Titanic time and time again by my girlfriend, who happens to now be my wife of 21 years! We go with great frequency, often weekly when we have the time. The popcorn is always fresh and crisp, the teenaged staff has never been anything but courteous and helpful. I can't remember ever having a sticky armrest or more than a reasonable amount of loose popcorn on the floor. Now the only criticism I can levy on this great establishment is the inclusion of a 50 cent per ticket charge for using a card and the omission of any independent or less than blockbuster type movies. If I could give 0 stars I would. Please becarful when visiting this Theater, the owner son which is the one really running stalks customers out into the parkinglot and try's to start confrontations if you have problems with cheese n or popcorn. My first time visiting and got popcorn which was very salty even without butter and was told the popcorn was a day old!!!😲 and they salt all the popcorn. The nacho cheese was very soured smelling and tasted very old. Im so sorry for anyone that has been here and bullied by this man! I had to call the police because of him approaching me in the parkinglot with a very aggressive behavior and sounded as if he threatened to hit me as he went back in!!
