Gallery X Art Collective — Attraction in Murray

This past weekend a friend and I wanted to get a couple of piercings done and decided to come here to get our work done, and all I can say is best decision ever! I have never been to Gallery X before, but my experience was so relaxed, professional, and thorough that I wish I had gotten all of my piercings here.

For our piercings we both got our work done by Jay, who was nothing short of the friendliest and best piercer I have ever gone to! The whole business is spotless, the jewelry beautiful, and they obviously take a lot of pride in their work. Jay made sure all equipment he used for us was not only fresh, but thoroughly sanitized before he took a needle to either of us. He took the care to make sure we were relaxed, as well as giving us tons of tips and information on our piercings and aftercare that neither of us knew before our visit. Jay was very conscious to make sure we were not only relaxed and ready for our piercings, but talked us through how the procedure would go from beginning to end so that we were involved in the process and knew exactly what to be expecting (a welcome change from past experiences with piercers who just want to get the piercing done quickly and shoo you out the door). It was immediately apparent how educated he was in piercing and how much he truly cared to make our experience positive, so thank you Jay for giving us each the best piercing experience we've ever had!

Also, you know that stereotype of dark and dirty shops? I can promise you it certainly doesn't apply here. As soon as we walked in the whole shop is well lit, jewelry displayed beautifully and open for customers to look at in display cases, we were greeted immediately, and SPOTLESS. I mean "if Covid wasn't a thing I would eat food off of the floor" sort of clean!

I usually don't take time to write out long reviews, but we were both so happy with the service we received here that I felt compelled to leave a review so that if anyone is looking around for a shop to go to in this area I hope you come here! Everyone in the shop we interacted with was so kind and made the effort to make sure they provided the best experience possible. Literally I cannot find a fault in any aspect of our experience, that's how good this shop is. I was searching for a consultation after receiving a piercing from another piercer lady down the street! After driving about an hour, I saw Maizie, and she confirmed my fears of the site being botched. 😭 She genuinely apologized for something that wasn't even her fault. 🥲 She then removed the piercing, and performed another one the CORRECT way! When I say I knew I was in good hands from the moment I was greeted by Jay (who is equally awesome), til the moment I saw Maizie and left, I mean just that!! This establishment is AMAZING, and the customer service is remarkable! I will not hesitate to refer anyone, or even return myself for future services! Jay and his coworker were both really fun to talk to!! It was my first time getting a professional piercing and they did a great job making me feel comfortable. I loved getting to watch them change the color of the jewelry as well. The service itself, I think is worth the price, especially with how precise they are about getting a piercing straight and making sure you feel happy and confident with what you're going to get since you're going to be the one wearing it everyday. A big plus was how respectful they were about my pronouns, I didn't say anything at the time because I was definitely nervous but it made the experience even better for me!
