Heritage Landing — Attraction in Muskegon

I have never been here. We were glad to see such a big walking trail, you could ride your bikes too, a very nice stage area, and 3 playground sets all near each other. One of the playgrounds is for smaller toddler aged children. Another one is a medium sized playground and then they have a bigger area. Very nice scenic bridges over the water. Nice picnic areas. I think that the maintenance crew could figure out how to get rid of the geese or help cleanup all the poop from them more often because their was so much from them that it was absolutely disgusting. One playground has a mesh floor, the other two are sand floors. If you walk down the path a bit farther you will find another playground that is much cleaner, newer and up to date. Very fun. Beautiful park, well kept up. This is a popular park for many Muskegon events like the Irish Festival and Unity. When there isn’t an event happening, this is a great place for photos (prom/graduation), picnics, boat watching, walking and relaxing. Decent little park, kayak ramp and fishing docks on location, usually clean and quiet, 2 playgrounds, water front parking, lots of benches and tables to sit at, I believe there's one built in charcoal grill but I could be wrong, location of 2 out of 8 outdoor stationery music sets for people to play with, unfortunately I didn't take my phone with the last time I went to upload any pictures, will do in the future, been going to this park for 20+ years, used to be the location of summer celebration before they stopped holding that event entirely, the stage in the middle of the park has hosted many famous music groups throughout the years via...
