Muskogee Brewing Company — Attraction in Muskogee

I share sentiments with others. I feel like although the new layout is nicer, the bar is losing some of what drew me here.

This used to be a male owned and male employee bar. Men who were actually knowledgeable about the beer brewed and how it was made etc. For a woman patron, it was a nice change from your stereotypical bars where all girls work in barely there clothes until now.

Now it’s fully staffed with women who are wearing typical bar girl attire. This big brunette girl working had her boobs pushed up so far in a shirt and a bra clearly way too small for her size of body and pants were too small cutting into her belly so that was hanging out. She kept making sure to bounce when she walked and when women walked in she seemed kinda afraid to approach them. Well maybe dress more appropriately so you can confidently approach women. One of the blonde girls was walking around in her light colored biker shorts and sports bra AT WORK, all goods on full display.

As a female we just want a place to go where it’s not geared towards men sexualizing women. Where we can take our guys and not feel like they are getting eye candy while we get nothing. Ya know, full dressed women would be great.

All tvs have sports on them 24/7. No more music like they once had. Or you get tvs on and music blaring over them.

It’s a typical loud sports bar now. Food is expensive...

Made our first trip to the Muskogee Brewing yesterday afternoon. Their brewery and restaurant are divided into two sections but joined by a common door. You have to go into the restaurant to order food, but don't worry as you can eat your food inside the brewery. The building is an old fire station that has been converted. Has lots of the old fire station history on the walls. Both areas are very nice with a rustic flair. We had the Fire & Ice Flatbread style pizza, it was really good. They had a good variety of beers on tap, from ambers to imperial stouts, radlers and seltzers. If you like craft beer then you should not have any problem finding something that pleases your pallet. The staff is very friendly, and the little blonde was busy slinging beers as quickly as she could. We were able to do a couple flights and had a few samples as well. The establishment appeared to be as clean as any, including the bathrooms. We will definitely be going back...

Amazing bar, the servers are friendly and attentive. There are several house made brews available, availability may vary based but the board is labeled with things currently being prepared. Food is fresh and light, the perfect selection for a place expecting their patrons to engage in further drinking. Prices are very fair, atmosphere is great, there's a TouchTunes Jukebox and pool tables. A few other games about like Cornhole or Pinball, excellent selection of dark beers like Bocks, Brown Ale, ant Stout.
