This beach is very easy to access of you’re staying near downtown. We opted to walk and it only took us about 17 minutes from Walter’s Deli where we got sandwiches to bring with us. There are a lot of shells and the first few steps into the water is very murky/hard to walk on, covered in seaweed and shells BUT once you get past that it’s beautiful and there’s a sandbar not too far out that is amazing! Our only caution is BEWARE of the seagulls here. They are very aggressive. We took our sandwiches out as we got there around 11:30 and my boyfriends almost had his literally snatched out of his hands by one!! It was wild. We kept shooing the same two away until a dog or child would run by and they would come back. We laughed it off but then another couple sat near us and weren’t so lucky. They did have there sandwich plucked from their towel as soon as they took it out and it was like a scene from the movie Birds. Seagulls everywhere diving and ripping it apart until they took it to the water. Be very cautious while eating here!!! Otherwise great beach that we enjoyed for a good portion of...
