This place is usually amazing and I normally have zero complaints about this place. Last time I was there, I showed up for a carry-out order. My order was "ready" right away, but when I got back to my car, I noticed half my order was missing. I went back up to the window to get the rest of my order, and I had to wait at least 5-10 minutes for just a few drinks and a few bags of chips. When I went back to my car, I also realized they didn't include the half dozen cookies we ordered... I went back up to the window and asked for the cookies, but the guy let me know that they did not have any more chocolate chip cookies. I proceeded to wait another 5-10 minutes before I heard anything else about the cookies, and during this time, another person walked up to the window and were able to order multiple chocolate chip cookies. This was starting to grind my gears.....

I went up to the window, asked for my cookies, and the guy told me he could only give me oatmeal raisin cookies. I proceeded to ask him why the other guy was able to get chocolate chip, and he tried to make up some excuse, then told me he could add a few chocolate chip ones to my stack of oatmeal raisin cookies..... He did not handle this situation well at all.....

I changed my review from a 4-star to a 3-star while typing this... I will be back at some point, but expect MUCH better service the next...

I’ve only been here three days, but this was the best deal going on the island. The large sandwiches are enough for two people.

Six of us ate here and all were more than satisfied.

I got a BLT on French bread. Fantastic. My wife got whatever has sprouts and hummus and loved it (particularly liked the chunks of chickpeas in the hummus).

The setting is beautiful. It was odd there was no sign out front, so being with a seasoned island visitor was key. But the place was pretty busy, even in late April, so somehow people know where it is.

If you like fresh sandwiches, this is your place.

(By the way, there’s an odd feature when using the electronic kiosk ordering system that it looks like you’re paying extra for particular add-ons when ordering, but in the end, if it’s on the menu, it came off the price. They should probably fix that because it looked like an up sell as we were ordering but actually wasn’t.)

If we’re ever back on the island, will definitely...

We heard so much about this place and were super excited to try it! The house was adorable and it was just a short bike ride from downtown. We ordered and thought everything was on track. We 45 minutes pass and we then realize they didn't get our order.. There was some weird disconnect between the register and kitchen. Either way, we then replaced the order for them to make and sadly it came out all wrong. We didn't want to wait again so we just made do, but our whole sandwiches came out as halves, the modifications were wrong and it didn't include our add on of avocado, etc. We were disappointed with this trip overall since the sandwiches were so basic and overpriced, but we were in Nantucket so I guess it's par for the course. I don't know that we...

A lovely place to relax on a summer day, get lunch, and enjoy just being. The food is fantastic and they give you extremely large portions. So you could easily split a sandwich— and I eat a lot! If you are looking for a place to get food and just enjoy yourself with people you care about. This is the place you have been looking for. Highly recommend it.
