The owner, Matty, no showed to my very first appointment. My husband drove me over an hour for a several hours worth of services, and she wasn't even there. I got a confirmation text the day before. Tried texting her that day on the same number I originally texted her on, asking a question about my service and she never answered. Then, texted while I was there looking for her, also no answer. Tried calling her and the phone was out of service? So I messaged her on Instagram 15 minutes past my appointment time and she did apologize and said sorry multiple times, but didn't offer to come in and or fix the problem. She just said that her booking system is messed up and this has happened to MULTIPLE clients recently. So I'm wondering if her system isn't reliable, why she isn't writing down her clients? I also got a confirmation from her booking system so it sounds like she relies on reminders for her own calender rather than looking every day and preparing for what she has. I work in the beautu industry also, and take clients and have never not showed up on someone. She did refund me immediately all of my deposits, thankfully. I just genuinely feel like she's hard to get a hold of, her number on her website doesn't work, her hours on her website are not even her operating hours, so I just feel like she's really young and not prepared to be owning her own business. Matty did my wedding nails as well as lash extensions! She did an absolutely incredible job and made me feel at ease that everything was going to come out great! She was soo right. We did a trial for nails a few months before my wedding day (more bridal) and she did what I wanted and we had planned to do those nails for my wedding day. Then, at the last minute I changed my mind when I went in for the appointment before my wedding with a completely different idea (more spooky season vibes) and she ran with it and did such a great job! I was a bit unsure on the specific designs but she asked if she could try something and I let her have creative freedom after giving her inspo pics and she absolutely killed it. I'm so glad I trusted her enough to do what she's best at and they came out so cute! I was also unsure about lash extensions because I have never had them before. I told her that I wanted a natural looking set with just a little bit of a pop and she did exactly what I asked for. If I could give her 10 stars I would. I had the most amazing experience with Matty! From the moment I walked into her relaxing, beautifully set-up space, I knew I was in great hands. She offers so many color options and really takes the time to make sure every detail is perfect. I got a polygel medium set(switched to long) with gorgeous designs and a deluxe pedicure — and both services are always absolutely wonderful. Matty’s thoroughness and thoughtfulness truly set her apart. She takes so much pride in her work and it shows in every little detail — from the perfect shape and flawless french tips to the incredible energy and welcoming environment she creates. She does everything you could possibly need, and she does it with the utmost professionalism and care. Everything is always perfect: the shape, the style, the vibe, and the quality. 10/10 would recommend!
