Got home with my pizza and found it to be the consistency of slightly crisp uncooked dough. I called Papa Johns and spoke with an assistant manager there. He said I'd have to drive back to South Nashua before could do anything about it. This is per corporate policy. Not a great policy since it was about 10pm at night and the store was about 20 minutes away.
Got an email from Papa Johns corporate asking about my experience. Wrote that it was bad. Their response was that someone from this store would get back to me shortly. About a week goes by and not response from this Papa Johns. I get another email from Papa Johns corporate asking if the situation was resolved. Wrote back that I was never contacted by this Papa Johns. They said they'd have someone get back to me right away.
So lesson learned is when they give you the pizza, take all the slices out of the box to see if they're overcooked (burned) or under-cooked (slightly singed dough). Because if you don't check now and there's a problem, be prepared to drive back to the store for a quality assurance examination for a pizza the cost them maybe $3 to make.
Or better yet, go to many other places in the area where they take the customers word and make it right without the hassle. They know that if there's a bad experience and the customer is not satisfied, they will take their business elsewhere.
I would have given them one star, except the assistant manager was very nice but was hamstrung by...
Read moreSo I ordered from a customer line service which was the worst service I ever had. He had to put me through to the store, Matt came on the phone, and I explained the whole situation with the guy on the phone how I wanted to customize a pizza but they gave me limitation. He then fixed everything that needed to be and customized the pizza how I wanted. I got to the store quick service and another guy not Matt answered at the doorbell he gave me the food and made sure my customization was correct before handing me my food. I got home it was literally the best pizza I ever had. I could go back and back and back. But how do I get through to the store instead of some foreign language guy that has never worked in a kitchen before in his life. These people are turning us away. If he got angry and hung up I would have never of had the best food and best service ever. Thank god he paged me through to the store. They got a tip for pickup and it was worth every penny. Thank you Matt and whoever handed me the food....
Read morePizza was fine. But the Delivery guy was an idiot. Couldn't figure out the door buzzer, which has my name and number clearly written right by the door. Calls me and goes' "Yeah. You open door." So I buzz him. Come to find out he's still standing outside with the pizza. I opened the door for him and he goes, "How many drinks you order?" I say 2. He goes, "oh... I only grab one. Do you want me go back to store and get?" No, man. It's fine. Then comes the the transaction. Total $21. I give him 2 Twenties and ask for 15 bucks back. After going back outside to his car and returning with the change he goes, "How much you want back?" I repeat myself. He goes "Oh, I only have 7 dollars for you. Do you want me to...." No, man. It's fine. "Own your mistakes though, my dude. Don't ask ME for permission to rectify your errors." That's what I should have said. Instead I said something like, "WTF, Man? You F up my order and now you don't even have change for me?" Sorry, for the rudeness, kid. Just...
