I’ll start by saying I’ve been to this location twice. The first time was decent enough for my husband and I to return a second time for another couple’s massage. Unfortunately, the second experience was so poor, I’m here to tell about it. First… because they require us to pre-pay, the tip info is pre-pay. My husband gave a 20% tip BEFORE the service. The lady at the desk said… 90 minutes? My husband responded back yes. And then they repeat that back and forth 3x. After the 3rd time the lady at the desk says “that’s little tip but ok.” And then my husband’s therapist said if she did a good job, he could tip more after. Moving on, the rooms have no door handles. Just open holes where handles should be. So anyone can see in, and the noise level is high in the therapy rooms. Also, someone came in and out of our room 3/4x and spoke loudly to our therapist. Here’s the biggest issue. My husband’s therapist was on a phone the entire time. Must of the time she only had one hand in use while she text, made calls and answered for other appointments. When she made an appointment she would YELL across the building to the front desk to give her the information. Literally yell. My husband and I both acknowledge during the massage that we did not like this behavior, but they did not stop. We got up very annoyed and not relaxed at all. I’ll add that my therapist, while she did respond when spoken to, was very attentive. She stayed focused, and I appreciated her massage. But my husband’s did not. At one point, she even spoke to my therapist who then changed what she was doing with me. My husband and I have had more massages than I could begin to count, and this was by far the absolute worst experience we’ve ever had. Do...
Read moreI had dual knee replacement at the end of Jan 2022. I started going to Hermitage Massage Therapy 5 weeks post op. I have been going twice a week for the past two months.
The place is very clean and the ladies are all very nice. I work with Connie to schedule my massages and Amy is who I see every time I go.
I have been getting massages for over 30 years and Amy is absolutely the BEST massage therapist I have ever had. I get two hour massages and Amy is so knowledgeable about how to massage after major surgery,
Amy is so attenuative and knows where to apply more pressure and she knows all the areas on my legs to be gentle and use different techniques.
Having both knees replaced at once requires a very long intense recovery. I look so forward to my two appointments with Amy every week. I will continue going to see Amy after my knees are fully healed.
I thank God I found Hermitage Massage Therapy. I have made new friends with Connie and Amy. Connie is great and always has a smile. Amy is beyond amazing and always has a smile and always makes sure I am comfortable while she works on helping to heal my knees.
Thank you ladies!! You are awesome! Thank you for caring about my recovery and about...
Read moreLet me preface by saying that the ladies work very hard here and they put all their effort into the massage. I went in for a couple's massage and my husband said he got the best massage of his life. I, on the other hand, got a very mediocre massage. My masseuse did not speak English and couldn't understand what I was asking from her (more or less pressure). She just nervously chuckled and went about doing the same thing as before. The two ladies were also chit chatting in their native language for about a third of the time ... kinda rude and ruined the relaxing vibe. I was peeved that my masseuse stepped away several times from the room to answer a phone call or greet another customer. Take that for what it's worth. You may end up with a wonderful massage or be left wishing you had gone somewhere else. It's a total toss up. I won't be coming back to this...
