Klipper Cutz Barbershop — Attraction in National City

If you have coarse or curly hair DO NOT go to the barber with silver hair. I made the mistake of choosing him since my normal barber was out. DO NOT make the same mistake as me! Sitting in a chair for an hour and a half just to receive a terrible haircut is not something I wish on anyone. I didn’t even need to see it yet to know, as he picked my hair from the root and not from the ends, that he had not worked on coarse hair. He used tint to attempt to mask his mistakes and smelled as if he didn’t shower in days and it was overall an incredibly disappointing experience. I had to ask him to fix it and even then he still couldn’t give me $30 worth. Be sure to ask for David, that’s who I came for originally and he can handle the rigors of 3C+ hair!

Fernando hooked me up with the freshest 'do I had in a looonggggg time! Hopped around from barbershop to barbershop for a minute without ever leaving fully satisfied. Tried almost every top barbershop in San Diego but not a single one gave me that million-dollar feeling you get after a fresh cut. I looked up this random place on Yelp located in a little corner on National City and gave it a shot. Don't be fooled by the exterior yall. The guys here are all very talented with different hair textures and have won multiple awards. Young Nando did a waayyyy better job on my black hair than most yall San Diego favorites. I recently went to Klippers barber after being messed up by a lot of other barber shops! My expectations for this barber were low because that’s how I had been with any barber after my terrible barber experience at another barber shop and I was surprised!
