National City Motel — Hotel in National City

My wife and I was blatantly Discriminated against by the attendant which is a older gentleman is considered to be the manager.We arrived at 9:45 and waited until the housekeeper urged me to go to the office and try to check in which was 11 am. Another regular guest had arrived She has stated that our room was ready since we were regular guests and the we prepayed it. After going to the office ,the wife of the older gentleman told me to come back in 30 minutes. The other guest stated that he was going to go and check in, the wife told him come back in 10 minutes .After 10 minutes I went in and the older gentleman was there and before I could say anything he told me to come back at 2 pm. 3 hours later. The other guest that's a regular, stated that he was going to check in and get his room. The other guest went back in the office and was checked in by the older gentleman and heading to his room with a smile on his face. I was so so upset because of the older man blatantly discriminated against us by not allowing us to check in even when the housekeeper urged me to go and check in because our room was ready.Then I went back in the office to find out why I couldn't check in ,but he checked in another guest that happen to be a different race. He lied and said that the guest paid an early check in fee.I questioned the other guest and he told me no he didn't pay an early check in fee. He even stated that this was discrimination. Went to San Diego to meet up with family for a event. Arrived at the hotel about 7 PM. Check in with well. Walked into the room. It reeked of cigarette smoke and I had asked for a non-smoking room. I noticed that there were cigarette burns in the bedding. The curtains were disgusting covered with white crusty stuff. There was a refrigerator that was banged up and a microwave that had a burn mark on the outside of it. The inside of the microwave was disgusting. You would not want to warm anything up in there because it was dirty. At the sink area on the wall there was a sign. Written in the wall was a derogatory remark regarding sex with a phone number included. No thank you. The bathroom door was filthy. It had cracks in it like it had been kicked open at one point. They were written remarks on the bathroom door. I went to use the bathroom and flush the toilet. It would not flush. I had to open up the back of the toilet and grab the chain to flush it. They had use a paperclip to hold the chain. We had to quickly shower and leave the hotel by 830. When we arrived back at the hotel at 1 PM the toilet had overflowed. I did not have time to ask for a refund and look for another room. Orbits contacted the hotel staff. No refund given. The staff acted like it was OK to have derogative sexual remarks on the walls, toilet not working ect.... Check...

The room was nice but the staff was beyond rude. Checked in for 1 night the lady was asleep on her desk at 2pm. The room was nice and clean. During the night a staff member came running up and asked how many people were in our room and insisted he check the room. It was only me and my bf. He said we are being too loud and can't be loud. We said sorry we weren't doing anything other than watching the game. The next morning we checked out and before he allowed us to check out he insisted on checking our room.
