I really enjoyed my trip this historic village which I think is a very apt description of this little complex. They had a bunch of log cabin like buildings not just one or two. they actually had people dressed in period clothing working some of the stores of the village like the blacksmith and the general store. the main draw is to go through the different log cabins and see what they were like read about their history look at some of the period appropriate furniture and decor and have a chance to see what it was like to live in that time. They also have a lot of animals which I personally enjoyed. Turkey's chickens pigs and ducks. you can actually ride the railroad at nelsonville station to the village and I think that helped with it...
