Vernay Moving and Storage — Attraction in Netcong

Great experience with Vernay and my move to a new area. From the professional and reassuring booking through Kaitlyn and Connie with great follow up, to the actual move I was totally prepared to stress out but they never gave me reason to. It was a complicated move from one house to two locations so there was so much that could go wrong but nothing did. Not only did it run smoothly it finished under estimated hours and under budget? That I didnt expect! The estimate was very reasonable to begin with so the savings was a bonus! We had 4 men to move out and they added a fifth to move in as both new locations were 2nd floors. This is where I thought it was going to cost me. Nope saved money and about 3 hours time. Trust these guys they know what they are doing. If you are lucky enough to get them John is the pace setter, almost afflicted to get the job done right and fast. Honz amazed me with his ability, energy and pace. Kenny can carry more boxes on his back then I thought humanly possible, a real time saver! Kylle and Matt kept the mood light and helped me relax.. Thanks guys because of you I am spending my first day in my new home relaxed with no moving day post traumatic stress disorder. P.S. tip these gentlemen accordingly. The days of handing them a $20 Bill are over. Think of what you would tip a great server in a restaurant and apply it to your estimate. They will split that and best money I ever spent....

I used Vernay Moving twice to handle local moves for my mother-in-law. First things first: the office staff is courteous and professional, and the moving crew showed up on time, was also courteous and professional. The first move was from a fairly large house to a storage unit that was definitely not designed to hold the entire contents of a home. There was a three-man crew to handle it and I was amazed that they managed to get everything in - without damaging anything in the process. On the second move, a different crew managed to unpack the unit and move it to a new home without damaging anything. This is a family-owned business, and it shows in the way they treat customers; their crews have been with them a long time and so has their office staff. I never imagined a moving experience would be so pleasant. Communication was excellent with quick quote, response to questions, etc. Movers showed up early and moved at the speed of light, cautious with every piece, very polite, kind and comforting to stressed-out me. (It looked like some of them were having fun!?) Following their truck down to the new place, I even saw them roll down their window to drop a donation into the bin of the Netcong nonprofit (ambulance? fire?) that had people set up asking for donations at the traffic light. Finished earlier than anticipated and came in under budget by a few hundred dollars. Bless them! So very happy with the multiple people from the Moms in Morris Facebook page whom I had seen recommending them to others. I would use these guys again in a heartbeat.
