Wonderful display, these folks have once again created a work of art, and all in the name of community and raising money for those in need. I went Friday 1/11/19 ~830pm and it wasn't very busy at all. They have a nice display that explains the logistics of building it, pics of past sculptures, FREE postcards (pls take one, leave some for others), and a donation box which I hope you'll all contribute something to. They cordoned off an aisle for pedestrians in line for pics. Please be aware and manage yourself and kids/those with you--it's a street with active traffic and you're as responsible for yourself as much as the driver's trying to get by. Also, please be courteous, responsible, and use common sense--its made of snow, and there are signs asking visitors to not sit and not touch, yet 2 groups literally sat on the sculpture for pics; and when I asked why they did it in lieu of the sign, each group said they didn't see the sign (in plain sight). Please be respey people, ignorance is lame. All in all, a great viewing. I'm going back to see how it looks in daylight, but you can't go wrong stopping by any time. I recommend early or later to miss some...
Read moreThese guys are talented and 100%of donations go to charity. They also have free postcards available. Just try not to be that obnoxious person that decides that roads don't have cars driving on them and walk directly in front of the cars. The location is not on a wide street. They have the lights on until 10:30 and there was a very nice woman present that took our photo for us. There was a very clear, planned out area for a line to take a photo, but make sure you ask people whether they are in line or not as many people stand in front of the sculpture even after having had their photo taken. Thanks to the brothers and friends for doing...
Read moreEnjoy taking a photo in front of an ocean themed snow sculpture! There is a place to leave a contribution for charity as well. It is a city and family effort to bring these sculptures to life. It is a fun attraction to bring your out of town friends and family. Thanks for doing such a nice job, Bartz boys!
Came again this year, 2019, and it must be the tallest one they have made to date. Excellent detail and lighting. This will become a tradition of ours, to stop and visit. Thanks for bringing community together in our neck...
