Nice and clean restaurant when entering a few minutes it opened. I ordered their Red Curry with a chicken and Sesame Chicken.

The Red Curry is a generous size with average taste and not the kind of thick curry that red curry is usually made but, it does have a kick of spice. I think this dish is for those who can handle mild spices and like the curry more on the runny side.

The Sesame Chicken. It’s great that it came be made gluten free which they skip the flour mix battering for the meat however, the portion is quite smaller than the red curry and the look of it seems like it’s sweet & sour chicken instead. It is extremely sweet like orange zest with sugar. It’s overpowering like those who like their sweets amount as dessert. If you can zoom into the photo, you may see the sugar in the dish that wasn’t fully dissolved in the sauce and didn’t see sesame seeds but, the rice portion was good. My digestion couldn’t tolerate the sugar levels so, I don’t recommend this dish if you have stomach/digestion sensitivity or can’t tolerate large amount of sugar.

If the owner or employees read this review, A helpful tip: I think other customers would appreciate if you separate the rice and sesame dish because the rice soaks up the sauce and if there could be a sweet level option to ensure satisfaction from each different customers that come and go, it’ll be great.

Overall the service was great and the food came in reasonable time but, leaving three stars because of preference wise. I enjoying authentic Thai food so, this one is not bad but, is catered to American people or others that can’t handle authentic Thai food. The sesame chicken threw me off and is extremely sweet so don’t order it if you don’t like...

#1 Best, most-unique fried rice in Minnesota (green tea leaf fried rice). Seriously. I don't say that lightly. Ignore the usual Thai stuff. Order the Burmese stuff. The tea-leaf fried rice somehow has its own dimension of umami, drawing on the delightful umami in Burmese tea-leaf salad (also well worth ordering from the menu). I had zero idea that fried rice could taste that good. (Please note that both the tea-leaf fried rice & salad likely contains peanuts, because tea-leaf salad usually uses crispy fried legumes to add texture.) I recommend ordering the tea-leaf fried rice with a little bit of spicy. Also, the dumplings were delightful & were served in a very aesthetic bamboo steam-basket.

The restaurant is owned by Lisu people, a little-known indigenous people of Burma, Thailand, & China; also, many servers are Burmese, Karen, or Karenni (who are other major indigenous peoples of Burma/Thailand). This provides clues to the potential of this restaurant if only Minnesotans had a taste for the cuisines of Burma & indigenous "hill tribes" of present-day Burma & Thailand 😤. Seriously y'all, you're MISSING OUT if you don't try out the less-common Burmese dishes. The servers have all been helpful & professional too.

P.S. Seems like they stopped carrying mohinga & Burmese beef curry 😭 (try asking for it, who knows?). Their beef curry was another favorite of mine. They just added pumpkin curry which is popular with indigenous peoples of Burma & Thailand, especially Karen people, but pumpkin curry hard to find in MN. They still have Burmese samosas & tea-leaf salad. Both of those...

I stopped by to eat with my sister. It’s a Friday evening it gets busy, I get it. We were seated by the door at a table they did not clean (they cleaned later). We ordered 1 appetizer and two entrees. 20 mins after ordering we got a wrong appetizer first then the right one 5 mins later. 30-40 mins after appetizer we asked our server when our food will be out since now we’ve waited around an hour since our first order. Mind you all the tables were being cleared and no incoming customers. He stated “it will be out soon.” And left. Waiting another 10 mins we decided enough was enough and asked our food for take out instead bc it was a ridiculous amount of waiting time. Over an hour. They handed us our food only to find out our food was NOT made the way we asked when we got home. We called and they told us to COME BACK to get our refund in cash when we paid with card, when asked to do it over the phone the man on the other end asked “you don’t want your refund??” So now I have to wait til tomorrow to get my refund over the phone with the owner for food I didn’t want and waited over an hour for.

TLDR: food is okay but was it worth the service and the over hour wait? The manger guy seemed to be okay until I called and basically threatened me if I did or did not want...
