Update: called the number in the follow up comment below and spent 10 minutes on the phone while Jordanâs tried to figure out who Sarah is⊠another customer service representative ended up helping me, she was very good and refunded to my account the delivery fee. In using the bed more and the storage drawers more frequently, I am still finding loose and missing bolts. The whole experience was just sloppy and annoying. For now, still keeping my review at 2 Stars. I donât doubt that they can do better and that most probably have better experiences than we had, but just very disappointed from once we paid for the furniture throughout the delivery and with the end results.
Iâll start with the good. We recently purchased a house and need everything. On this day we purchased a sofa, bed frame setup, and a mattress. The New Haven store itself is beautiful, well organized, great selection, nice salespeople, etc⊠I especially had a nice experience with the sleep specialist picking out a mattress.
Now for the bad⊠the delivery and setup experience. We ordered all in stock product so it came relatively fast. The delivery arrived and 1: the mattress cover was not delivered and/or not loaded on the truck so they already needed to come back at a later date. 2: One driver was incredibly nice and helpful, the other miserable, grumpy, not helpful, and just generally did not appear to want to be there. 3: the sofa was severely damaged, not sure at what point in the process but they took it off the truck and noticed the back was destroyed/damaged, needed to schedule another delivery; 4: they setup the bed and I noticed the next day, when we went to move in, that almost all of the screws/nuts were left loose. I could literally unscrew/loosen with my fingers. Shook the headrest with my hand and you can hear it rattle and could see the gaps in between the wood framing. Tightened all the screws/nuts myself as we it was our only bed/furniture and needed to sleep that night. Last night, went to fill the storage drawers on the bed with clothing and noticed one of the drawers was off the track. Also, repaired myself.
Overall, not a great experience. Delivery and setup is equally, if not as important as the sales process, especially when paying good and hard earned money. For rest of house, probably will look to give another...

We arrived at the Sleep Lab in Jordanâs on a Sunday afternoon, and were greeted by Mary, the perfect salesperson for the job. After riding on Bridge IT and going through the analytical procedure, Mary expertly guided us to four superb mattresses that suited our needs. After spooning each other on all four, we found our perfect fit, and I am counting the days until she is MINE. I highly recommend this experience, what is more important than a good mattress?!?

Read moreI bought a leather sofa from Jordans back in 2018-2019. The employees were all very nice and customer service was great. But I kept having this issue where my sofa would always cave in the middle, even though that is not the spot we normally sit on the most. After having someone come out and take a look, we found out that this is an issue that occurs quite often with this sofa. Even though they came out and fixed the issue, it ended up caving in again within a couple of months.
I wish I had known of this issue with the sofa before buying it. I expected more out of this sofa, especially for how much I paid for it. My previous leather sofa was from Bobâs furniture and lasted close to 20 years so Iâm very disappointed that the sofa I purchased has barely lasted five years.
I wonât be purchasing another sofa from them since it seems they donât last long.
UPDATE: 2/19/25 I called Jordanâs customer service today to see if anything can be done regarding my sofa. I was told my warranty expired a year ago. They offered to send someone out to fix the issue for about $200 but I refused as it seems itâs an ongoing issue and I will end up spending more money down the road.
Jordanâs also offered $150 towards another sofa within the year, but I feel like it wonât be worth buying another sofa from there if they canât even fix the current issues that they have with my sofa.
The customer service rep I spoke to said, according to her records there really hasnât been much of a complaint on my sofa brand which contradicts what their service provider had told me.
Iâm upset. I need to buy another sofa, but I wonât make the mistake of buying a Jordans again. I guess Iâll just go back to Bobâs furniture or Ashleyâs furniture.
Itâs unfortunate to have paid so much for a sofa to continuously have a problem with it. I would have considered going back to Jordanâs if they cared to offer more than just $150 especially when their sofas are usually around...
