New Haven Visitor Center & Snack Shack — Attraction in New Haven

Be ware! Dont be deceived by the big visitor center sign in front of this place. Not a conventional one. I live in NC and have traveled all up and down the East coast from Florida to NY, MANY times, and as you can imagine have stopped at many visitors centers This however was my first time up in CT. Had a very interesting experience in this so called Visitor's Center. If you are looking to wash your hands, use the restrooms and/or simply refresh and are not interested in purchasing soda, icecream etc save yourself the troble and dont bother. A very spirited older gentleman will argue with you how you missed the small sign outside the place, which says the bathrooms in the so called "Visitor center" are only for paying customers. Dont bother trying to explain your point of view either. That will only make him raise his voice in your face! If you however are looking to buy a bottle of water and use the bathroom this place is the perfect...
